I spent a lot of time looking at various patio chairs on Amazon. I wanted a chair that was comfortable, sturdy and long lasting. I also wanted a chair that was not hard on my knees when I get up. I got all of that and more from this chair. In fact, a few days after I ordered one for myself I ordered another one for my husband.The first thing I had to do was to use the clip on the side to lock the chair in position. It was ready to go. I was a little concerned that when I leaned back in the chair it might go back too far and tip over. This does not happen so my fears were not justified. The chair is very comfortable and I love that it is a rocking chair. I have had no problem sitting down or getting out of the chair.So far, I have only used the chairs on the deck. However, this chair is easy to fold and is fairly light if you want to transport it. I like that it made from a steel alloy, as I have had aluminum chairs, in the past, that bent. In addition the fabric seems is made of a material called textilene. I googled and found that textilene Is resistant to sun, UV rays and fading. It is also water permeable, so when it gets wet it dries fast. In other words, I am hopeful that the chairs will last.These chairs have allowed us to use our deck more. They are attractive, comfortable and should last. I highly recommend them.Update: More than one year later, I am still happy with the chairs. I left them on the deck all year and they still look like new. Great buy.

The media could not be loaded. Perfect for my front porch but I haven’t stopped rocking long enough to take it out there! I’m 5’9and it is very comfy. The headrest helps. the arms are just wide enough to rest arms comfortably. I could rock myself to sleep in this chair with a small pillow at my low back. One observation- engaging the lock, pull the lower latch up first, then you can press the top latch into place. Top latch down first doesn’t work. I recommend this rocker. It seems sturdy, the fabric should be perfect for outside on our covered front patio. It is much nicer than I expected.

Rocker arrived this week, box had some tears, holes, was scotch-taped together top and bottom, so was afraid it might be damaged, but so far as I could see, it wasn't. Got the red model, no "canopy" on this one , tho they are mentioned in some reviews. It has a sliding head pillow, which is great because am 5 ft tall (or 5 ft short) and chair pillows often are awkwardly placed for me. I do need a back pillow to make it comfortable, seat is rather deep for me. Comes assembled right out of the box , easy enough to unfold tho a bit stiff. One problem, which is why there are only 4 stars for some features: There's one latch on your right seat side (right when you're sitting in it) and it is supposed to hook over a small protruding rod protruding from the seat side, apparently to secure and stabilize the chair when unfolded. When I pushed the latch down, the opening did not fall over the protruding rod as it should have, so it couldn't be latched. I turned the chair over, rockers up, and that stretched the chair full-out and I could latch it. Wnen I turned the chair right side up and sat in it, the latch unlatched. The assembly video on Amazon does not show a latch being closed when the person unfolds the chair and sits in it, so am a bit confused re the latch purpose.The chair seems to work fine without the security latch, and children are not going to be using the chair, so am going to accept it as is for a try out because I do like it. If the latch misfit turns out to be a problem in use, re stability of the chair, will update this review and return try to return it....otherwise I do like this chair a lot. Looks good, feels good, reasonable price, what's not to like! (The latch issue....maybe,,maybe not!) UPDATE OK, after a couple of days, I figured out the latch issue. The front end of the latch is supposed to open up to a "Y" type opening, and then you close it down over the rod. Then close the "Y". Initially it was stuck together, and couldn't open. A couple of days using the chair loosened whatever was holding the latch end closed, it opened, and now closes neatly over the rod, firming up the chair's structure. The latch will have to be opened up when I want to fold the chair up again. Should be no problem, now that I know how it's supposed to work.

Perfect height to ground, width, comes to the back of the knee, smooth full rocking motion, head rest, it puts me almost to sleep or just very relaxed, best purchase I have made recently!

I'm having back surgery within the next month; this is light and sturdy..I don't know if I even want to take it outside. It's sturdy and slides on carpet easily,lolOne negative is the latch on the right side of the chair can come loose ,which can make the chair tend to fold .

I love this chair! It was easy to unfold and refold. The first chair I ordered was a Portal camp chair and it was VERY heavy and difficult to unfold and refold. This Amazon Basics chair is VERY comfortable to sit in and I love how you can rest your feet on the front of the rockers, and the chair seems very stable. It is very easy to get out of too. I had a little trouble locking the chair. I didn't see the clamping device at first, it was folded up in line with the back of the chair frame. It seemed to need to be pushed back to 'catch' on the locking peg. This chair is very sturdy and comfortable. Well worth the price! I was, however, NOT happy with how the carrier left the box so far from our front door, it was very visible from the street and awkward to carry. The box was also damage on one side but thankfully the chair was unmarred. I was unable to write a complaint about that because the usual e-mail was not sent to me about the delivered.

Fácil configuración que cualquiera podría realizar en menos de un minuto. Se incluye una hoja de instrucciones visuales además de una pegatina que muestra la fácil instalación directamente en el mecanismo de bloqueo, lo cual es excelente para esos momentos en que las instrucciones impresas están desaparecidas. Se desliza un poco sobre suelos de cerámica pulida. Un par de tiras de cinta de goma antideslizante autoadhesiva deberían resolver ese problema. Planee comprar un segundo rockero el próximo día de pago en caso de que venga un amigo y podamos rockear juntos :). Ahora, si se mantiene bien durante el próximo año, estaré encantado *****🇺🇸 I have been searching for a good quality, portable, reasonably priced rocking chair for quite some time. This rocker did not disappoint! Easy set up anyone could do in less than a minute. Visual instruction sheet included plus a sticker showing the easy setup right at the locking mechanism which is great for those times the printed instructions are MIA. It does slide a bit on polished ceramic tile floors. A couple strips of self adhesive non slip rubber tape should solve that problem. Plan on purchasing a second rocker next payday in the event a friend comes over and we can rock together :). Now if it holds up well over the next year I’ll be “over the moon” pleased *****

La "tela" son de las que causan mucha estática pero está muy buena y cómoda.Es de estructura de aleación de acero entonces si no quieres rayar tu piso en mi caso le puse cinta de aislar en la parte que tiene contacto solamente con el piso porque luego batallas para plegarla. Yo la compré en Mx $1500, no sé porque la aumentaron tanto.
