Vetericyn VF Wound and Skin Care Treatment Spray 16 Ounce Trigger

My cocker spaniel had terrible ear infections for several years and was always on antiobiotics. I tried everything to clear up the recurring infections, but nothing worked. At the beginning of last year our vet suggested a lateral ear resection. Soon after his ears were infected again. The antiobitics no longer worked. We moved to a different city and I tool him to a new vet who referred us to a surgeon. I would clean his ears daily just to control the infection. One day he went in the pool and I didn’t dry his ears the way I normally would after a bath and a couple of days later his ears were so swollen that he couldn’t hear me call his name. I took him to the surgeon and she said he need a total ear ablation. I left the surgeons office in tears knowing our dog would never hear again after they removed his ear canals. With an appointment for surgery already scheduled I knew I had just a few more days to boost his immune system and save his hearing. I started him on some homeopathic remedies like Hepar Calcium Sulphate and Pulsatilla, Bio-Active Silver Hydrosol, Curcumin and started cleaning his ears with VETERICYN VF. I used those remedies for less than a week just to boost his immune system. I flushed his ears with the Vetericyn at least 5 times the first day. The second day he could hear again. I canceled the surgery. I have continued using the Vetericyn VF at least once a week. He has never had an infection again. I know for sure that the Vetericyn works. I tell everyone about this product. This is the only seller I am able to purchase the VF from. I’m a very satisfied customer. I hope they never take this product off the market.

I have been using this product for about 9 years on my pet dogs. I used to be a human wound care specialist and we used a similar product to disinfect and heal wounds. I use this product on myself as well as my dogs. For infected, superficial wounds it is non-stinging, non-toxic, it does not encourage licking because it has no flavor or smell other than a mild chlorine scent. I have been able to heal my dog's hot spot without the use of antibiotics or steroid when caught early enough. The wound was at the smelly, pussy stage. After shaving the area and the surrounding skin to expose the margins of the wound clearly and clipping longer surrounding fur that could fall into and become part of the wound, I used it every 2-3 hours, soaking a cotton ball so as not to startle my dog with the sprayer, cleanse and dabbed dry. I also use the Vetericyn gel product as a coating over the wound once cleaned with the Vetericyn VF plus, to provide a moist wound healing environment, to sooth and also to protect the wound from invading debris and bacteria. We also use a cone to prevent re-injury to the site until the scabs have naturally dried and fallen off and fur returns. After much experience in treating moist and infected hot spots I have found this product and this procedure to be the most effective for healing. Having a hot spot prone dog, I must inspect my dog daily in order to prevent a wound from becoming a deeper more serious pyoderma that requires antibiotics.

Bought to have on hand for any wounds on my dog or chickens. We’ve finally been able to manage a hot spot at home thanks to this product. Previously every hot spot required a vet visit which would be $600 after medications were purchased to manage it. This time we immediately clipped the fur over the hot spot and the surrounding fur and cleaned it with this. My dog doesn’t like the spray noise so we may start spraying onto gauze and then cleaning. We also have the hydrogel and hot spot hydrogel, the eye cleanse, the ear cleaner and one other product and they are all amazing to have on hand if you have pets. Next time one of our chickens has an injury we will use this for a pain free cleanser. Would recommend to keep on hand for anyone that has a pet! Could even be used on a human!

This stuff is magical. The horn of a unicorn could only do a better job. I've used this on gashes, cuts, abrasions, eye infections, ear infections, stinky frito feet, abcesses, mouth injuries, rashes, ringworm, hit spots and more. I've treated dogs, cats, rabbits, tortoises, chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons, and a opossum with this stuff and it's by far the fastest healing I've ever seen even on some horrific injuries. Healed up perfectly with minimal scarring too. I've even used it on myself. There's nothing this stuff can't heal. It's a requirement for my first aid kit at all times. It doesn't sting or burn and the animals don't even notice it being applied. It can be licked and you don't have to worry about them injesting it. When used to clean wounds several times a day and applying antibiotic ointment like neosporin It can't be beat. Yes, it's pricey but it will save you $100s in vet bills in the long run.

I bought this for my dog who was in the end stages of cancer. Our goal was to keep her as comfortable as possible until the end came. She had a growing mass on the inside of her elbow that did not seem painful, but was constantly bleeding/oozing. I would have to change the bandage multiple times a day, and when she walked, the bandage would rub the tumor and make it worse. Before the first time I used this product, the mass was purple and angry. Immediately upon the first spray, the tumor turned light pink and stopped bleeding. After a few days, the tumor started to shrink to half its original size. We would apply the product about 4-5 times a day and It worked great for about 2 months. Eventually the tumor started growing again, but we never got to the point of having to bandage it again. The cancer finally took over her internally, and we put her down, - so its not a cure, but I do credit this spray with making her more comfortable for her final days.
