So far so good. I have some pretty heavy guitars on there, including my Les Paul gold top, which comes in at about 10 pounds. They seem pretty strong. I can only hope they hold up through with time. I think it’s a good solution, and I would recommend this product.

I am using these with dual 4 ft slatwall panels that are one above another. These shorter hangers and are mostly hanging ukes and a mandolin on the top rail. On the bottom rail I am these as well as longer (11 inch) hangers which provide both more room and some visual relief to the seven instruments that I am able to securely hang in an area of wall space that is only 6 ft high by 5 ft wide. These are very strudy - as long as you hang them off of studs they should be able to handle pretty much all guitars and similar (a strat is the heaviest instrument I have and it is no problem).

These guitar hooks are just like what is described and work perfect with the slats I have in my studio. I would recommend some sort of rubber band to keep the arms from spreading out too far and allowing the guitar to slip down.

These are extremely helpful if you own a store with a slatwall. Its not just for instruments! I use them for bikes as well!

I bought 30 of these for my school ukuleles, and they worked out perfectly!

These are too small for regular slate panel walls. I needed to use a rod to adjust the difference, but this is far from ideal.
