Works great and it's fast
Bought to replace my xfinity gateway, which kept cutting off the internet for no reason and customer service would not replace it :( this device is perfect, no cutouts anymore and it's fast. I get 100 Mbps and that's the teir I'm paying for.A note for those trying to setup this modem for the first time, I found out you have to power it on first and wait a few minutes, before you plug in the coax cable. Then it will connect just fine.

Not working
I have done troubleshooting with both the cable company and with Motorola and this product does not work Motorola would not service it because it does not have warranty and I have to go through a lot of steps to get a warranty updated since I did purchase it through Amazon

Check for correct components
When trying to activate with service provider the unit would not work. When preparing to return unit I noticed that the power supply had 5V output, the modem spec called for 12V. Luckily I hang on to things and had a compatible power supply. Tried activation again and it worked!

Scam Alert
🚩1.) I was wondering why the device had an Intel label on it, as computer processors aren't typically found in modems.🚩2.) There were *no* status lights on the back Ethernet port. The device I received didn't work after much troubleshooting, and so I ended up going to my local computer parts store to get a functional device.I returned this one 6 weeks ago. Unfortunately Amazon has not yet received it and my credit card is going to be charged again, and so I suspect that there is someone out there running a scam.Buyers beware. For any inquiring minds, the device I obtained from the computer parts store works like a charm.

Nonfunctional
We tried to activate the modem in various ways with Xfinity and even had a tech come over who confirmed that signal was getting to our coax port. The problem turned out to be the modem which would not output any sort of Ethernet signal. I don't know if it's a firmware issue or the fact that the charger they provided supplies 0.75A while the device requires 1A. Terrible.
