Great Book and Awesome Examples!
I love the "Twently to Make" series. This is a great little book that has lots of examples and is very easy to follow. I have had a few "Twenty to Make" books that I did not like as much, but this was definitely NOT one of them. You can use this book for sugar paste, polymer clay, cold porcelain, salt dough, etc... I would highly recommend it.

Contains 20 birds ideas to make. With some new skills. Special tools are not necesary. Flamingos, owls, hummingbirds, eagles and much more.

These Twenty to Make Books are great. Very easy to make cake accents. Easy to understand and follow directions. Perfect for any level sugar art enthusiast.

Too elementary
Amazon was kind enough to give me a refund on this when i complained. I have found Frances McNaughton's books too elementary even for the beginner and the fondant 'birds' are not well thought out. You can get much better designs from other books then from this one...I like the animals to be cute or at least attractive and these were pretty ugly. Try other books/authors, you will be much happier. Maise Parrish has great designs/books.

I have several of these types of books for various crafts and skills and I am thrilled with the purchase of this one too! Beautiful images, easy to follow instructions that are fool proof. Love it!

Piccolo e ben fatto libro guida per chi come me ama la pasta di zucchero: istruzioni chiare e immagini semplici da seguire offre spunti per tecniche da utilizzare in altre personali creazioni. Basta liberare la fantasia.

Besonders gut für Anfänger...
...aber auch ich, als Fortgeschrittene, habe meinen Spaß mit diesem Buch und kann es immer wieder mal in meine Kreationen einbeziehen. Anfänger finden alles in dem Büchlein, was sie zu diesem Thema brauchen. Schnell sind die Figuren nachgemacht. Die Beschreibungen sind klar und verständlich. Genau das richtige für Arbeiten mit Fondant, Fimo und sonstige Modellierarbeiten. Sobald ein neues Büchlein aus der Reihe "Twenty to Make" (zu diesem Thema) erscheint, MUSS ich es haben. Und für diesen Preis ist es immer erschwinglich.
