Swimbuds MP3 Wearable Audio Player | Compatible with iTunes (No Apple Music)

These came with a bunch of parts and NO DIRECTIONS! Nothing on how to put the music on there, a bunch of ear parts that I can't figure out what they are for. I would have returned them but I waited too long. Still don't know how to put music on them. Only a charger, no other way to connect to computer for music download. hmmmmm..

Okay if you plan to wear both cap & goggles to hold in place, and you’re not looking for great sound. Wish description made clear the headpiece is very soft & flexible, can’t be shaped, has to be tucked & still awkward. Sound quality is not what one would expect in this price range.**Update: Customer service sent a prompt response to this review, with suggestions for improving the fit and encouraging me to contact them for further assistance.

I bought these for a few reasons mainly because the old one (different brand) just stopped working. The old one clipped to the goggles and two wires to ear pieces that wrapped around the ear... I was never really happy with the old one because the ear pieces would constantly fall out... and the sound quality was not all there... BUT these have not come out at all... there are many ear pieces to choose from... I found the Christmas tree ones worked great for me... Fairly easy to use... the only draw back is there is no screen to tell you what album or song you are on... If you want to listen to a specific album or songs... its a little tricky.... but for me during swimming laps I am ok with just loading up the type of music I like to swim to... If there were better controls for this I would have scored it a 5 of 5

This is the 3rd Underwater Audio product I have purchased (2 x headphones also) and this is the 3rd product I have had to return under warranty because it stopped working - this time after only six weeks.The product is great, it fits well, sounds terrific and hold a lot of songs, if only it would be work. The problem is that it does not charge in the charger either connected to a computer (therefore it is not seen as a drive) or directly to a power source.Their customer service is excellent other than the fact that you have to pay for return shipping. But it is probably excellent because so many of their products fail - shame.

Bought these swim buds as a gift for my wife who loves swimming laps. She previously used an old Oregon scientific MP3 player. It clipped behind her head on her goggles and had corded earbuds that ran from it. She got tired of all the cord that had to be bundled behind her googles when using it.These swim buds have such a better design with no long cords. With the player integrated into the headphones it is very compact and low profile. She didn't even notice the strap that runs behind her head while swimming. They come with many options for which earbuds that you can use for different activities and various sized ears. A simple USB cord claps onto them for charging and adding MP3 files.They sound amazing. The quality of the sounds was actually surprising. Adding music to the player was very easy. Just treat it like any other external drive that you plug into your computer. The hardest part was converting some of our audio files to MP3 since we use Apple . They have some nice websites online that will convert your files for you though. There are a couple of instructional audio files on the player that I would recommend removing if you don't want to hear them while you are swimming.She has small ears and found that they fit best while using a swim cap. With the cap on and added google strap they stayed firmly in place while swimming. The controls were easy to access and use while swimming. She liked that it didn't matter which stroke she was doing that the player stayed in place and even while doing flip turns. No constant adjustment which she used to experience with her other MP3 player. She said it was nice to finally be able to listen to some music again while doing laps. Would definitely recommend these swim buds for any one wanting to add some music to their swim time.

Took a while to figure out how to get files loaded, and a bit of time figuring out how to wear/adjust ... but then they worked great for the first month. Battery ran out, charged them just fine ... back in business for about two days before battery ran out again. This time cannot charge at all. Did all the troubleshooting, nothing works so called customer service and now I have to wait on an email with return instructions, so they can replace the items. Great that they're replacing them (one year warranty) but this isn't what I bought. I'll now be three weeks without something I paid a pretty good price for. Not thrilled.

The headset is very clear when not in the water but the quality is compromised or the sound sometimes dissappears completely when swimming... either in one ear or both. I suspect this is caused by water getting passed the earbuds or not. Fortunately several different sized and shaped earbuds are supplied with the "swimbuds MP3 player" and I found a pair that reduced this problem significantly but definitely not completely. Also you will need a large swim cap or at least one that covers your ears so that the cap can hold the MP3 player in place. The bigger cap also helped with the quality of sound.I tried to contact the suppliers to purchase a spare charger to which I got NO response.

*Update 29 March 2019*So I have now had a full chance to try these out in the swimming pool and I have upgraded my rating to 5 stars. The sound quality is amazing both in and out of the water. They fit so nicely in the ear and there are so many types of ear bud you can use. The little rubber band you can use to tighten them but I did find it also helped additionally tucking them under my swimming goggle strap.I did some serious front crawl lengths and the player didn’t budge or let in water (the tree buds are best for this). There is something truly awesome to have Les Miserables playing in your ears as you just pace it up and down the pool in your own musical watery world.The controls are so accessible with lovely nobly buttons to feel your way. Charging is simple as. Make sure the 4 dots are dry on the player then just clip it into the browser. Don’t overcharge though. It suggest 3 hours max charge. For that you get around 6 to 7 hours of playtime.My swimming training is truly amazing now and cannot believe it has taken me so long to try this.Please note. I have not been paid or influenced for my review I genuinely am that impressed.*Old initial reaction*So I have been trying to find a good mp3 player that I can use during swimming training where I predominantly do front crawl (why is called crawl? I go reasonably fast!) I just could not get the bone conductin style players to work and were cumbersome and unwieldy plus would keep coming off.I took a real punt with this purchase, not least the fact that there is no reviews here on Amazon. Instead I did a lot of google searching to find enough information to give it a go.Apart from the packing looking like a diagram of womens ovaries it is well packed and initial reaction is that they seem fairly solid and robust. The connections seem solid and sealed well and the control buttons have a good raised edge to them so you will soon learn button locations and actions from feel alone.They are super comfertable to wear though a bit cumbersome if you were glasses.The charging cradle is well designed and forms a nice snug fit to connect to a PC.Transfer is dead easy like it was a USB stick just drag and drop.The ear bud selection is vast and the sound quality is great.What I can not do yet is vouch for swimming with them. I will be back as soon as I can with a more detailed review as if these do what I want I think they deserve serious praise.

Everything this mp3 player is supposed to do in the water, while swimming, it does. Sound quality is good, volume goes high enough.Not necessarily ideal, if used as an audiobook player, since it does not support audiobook files, and it has no way to easily navigate an audiobook. But I guess it wasn't designed for that, so no great biggie.What is a biggie though, is the fact that the connection to the PC is very temperamental. My desktop PC doesn't seem to recognize when it is connected 90% of the time. Even with restarts, changing the USB port, trying to factory reset the device, nothing seems to resolve this issue. On my laptop though, it usually goes visible after a couple of attempts to connect.Once you put your audio files into it for the first time, this might not be such a big deal, but in my case, the bloody thing refuses to charge, when it isn't visible by the computer. So no chance of just connecting it to a charger, at least it didn't work for me.The absolute biggest problem though, is that there are no information online on how to deal with these problems. No guides, no tutorials, no help from the company from what I can see.Edit: Since this post the battery emptied and I tried charging it, doesn't work anymore, on any of the PCs in my house. Bunch of garbage.

Ho voluto spendere un po di più per avere un prodotto migliore ma così non è stato. L'ho ricevuto mercoledì, messo in carica la sera e ho caricato alcuni file musicali per provarlo ma il tasto PLAY non funziona. Dopo alcuni tentativi di accensione ho deciso di rimetterlo nella scatola e predisporre il reso. Devo dire che visto il costo mi aspettavo qualcosa di più.
