Great re-usable adhesive
I found a tip on the Internet that uses this product to unclog clogged Bluetooth headsets. I bought it because my headset barely produced sound on the right hand side. It worked like charm - pressing a little piece towards the headset grill, it pulled back all the gunk that was plugging it making the headset useable again.Since then I have found many uses for this adhesive keeping things in place and it was always easy to remove when I needed to remove it. A great product to have around.

If you have a cat (or cats) you need this stuff
I use this to "glue" down anything breakable such as lamps, vases and other breakables. Before I discovered blu tack many lamps, plant pots, vases and precious items were broken. My house was void of breakables. But this works so perfectly perfect that now I can enjoy all my precious breakables and love my cats too. I recently moved across country and (of course) took my cats with me in the car. They had nice big roomy crates and I used blu tack to hold their food and water in place so it would not spill while driving.

Well, it works, but maybe 3M's offering is better?
So I bought this largely because this is the one most recommended for certain audio-oriented applications (it makes a great vibration/distortion absorbing material.) It's less tacky and sticky compared to 3M's own (darker) blue putty even after preparing it (you're supposed to stretch and smush it several times to get it to soften up and get a bit more tacky before use) so doesn't stick or hold as well. However, 3M's own putty does dry out and harden after a while. Only time will tell if this one beats it at that. By my initial experience I would say that this is generally not as good of a choice for stuff like non-damaging wall hangings or that sort of thing, but it entirely depends on what you're buying it for (and if this one doesn't dry out then it will be better in that respect at least.)

Works great
Holds everything up. Love this. Super easy to use, looks like polymer clay. Value was easy. Super cheap and works well. Never fully dried, stays tacky so easy removal. Super durable, and is strong.

A valuable tool in my art box as well in my toolbox!
This is some amazing stuff! I don't use it as an adhesive but as a kneaded eraser for my drawing. I knead it & stretch & twist it till it is soft & pliable, then form it to the shape I need. Sometimes a teardrop, ball, a flattened teardrop. or I will pinch a thin edge, next I press it to the graphite lifting out the amount necessary creating the lightened effect I am going for. It works much better that the kneaded erasers available at any of the local art stores. I have also used it as a putty to hold delicate items in place in my display cabinet, so it is very effective for it's intended purpose, I just by far love it as a drawing tool. I keep a separate piece to use for colored pencil or watercolor. You will want to be sure that the watercolor is completely dry before you try lifting any color out & I have never tried to use it with oil pastels or paints & I really wouldn't recommend it for this. My preferred use is for graphite. I have found that I am able to lift anywhere from just a shade or two, all the way back to white and when the piece becomes dirty looking you simply stretch & knead, pulling & reballing it back to its original color making it good as new! I have had pieces for as long as 10 years and this product still looks as good as the first time I had used it.

okay
Not as sticky as I hoped it would be. I'm trying to find a good wall tac like the one I used to buy called Stay-Putty but i can't find it anywhere anymore, not even on amazon. This one is not as good as Stay Putty but better than some others I've tried.

Forget Ever Using Double Sided Tape
This stuff is great! Everywhere that I would usually use double sided tape, I now choose the Blue Tack. A friend of mine told me about this stuff and he wasn't lying. For starters, I was going to put double sided tape on the bottom of my SimpliSafe security tower because the cats were forever knocking it over, but I used the Blue Tack instead and it works amazingly well. I have found so many different uses for it. I have one of my security cameras on my window ledge and it looked awful with it being held in place with tape. I removed the tape and replaced it with
