The chain mail scrubber is the most effective cast iron scrubber I have ever used. I have been cleaning mine or my mother's cast iron cook ware for 54 years. I am an avid cast iron user and I love this! As much as I love my cast iron, I hated cleaning it. Until now. I bought the Full Circle Tenacious C Cast Iron Brush on Amazon along with this skillet cleaner. I put the the chainmail on the brush bristles and clean up is a snap. And no greasy, dirty hands when I finish. I have used this on my skillets as well as with my reversible grill/griddle. It is great at getting between all the ridges of the grill.I have only had this for a few weeks, but it seems super sturdy and I don’t imagine I will have to replace for a long time. When I am done I just rinse the brush and chainmail with soap and it cleans up super easy. It also says you can dishwash, but I haven’t needed to yet. It does a great job on both grease and baked on food.If you like to cook with cast iron, I would say this is a must have.

This makes it so easy to clean my pans and everyone in the family now knows how to clean the cast iron. I no longer have to yell at my teenagers who would scrub them out with soap and a Brillo sponge.

So far so good. Many uses , hasn’t degraded in any way. I use my cast iron daily so it’s nice to have.

I used to think cleaning cast iron was chore, if it got really encrusted i'd usually just leave the pan on high and burn it off, then i'd have to re season all over again. Now with this, it's a few seconds and the pan is perfect! I love this thing! I hang it by the sponge dryer and once in a while i'll through it in the dishwasher. If you cook everyday with cast iron like me then buy one already.

I got a card in mail without the chain scrubber pretty ridiculous?

I have a similar one with a plastic central core that falls out and this one that needs a backing but works. It is a device that does the job awkwardly. I put it on a sponge and it helps. It is not a well-designed tool. It lacks an appropriate backing. None of these cleaning chains do the job well.
