NO BELIVES, NO RITUAL, NO DOGMA ONLY SIMPLE PRACTICAL WAYS TO LIVE BEAUTIFULLY
The best part of this book is its so simple and small read packed with 100 practical ways of living to make our life simply like a bright lotus in the muddy swamps of life. In the beginning of the book the writer- head of the 450 years old monastery tells us that one will understand more about Zen simple by walking and enjoying the beauty of a zen than by reading out all the zen books out there. And this is the core message of the zen meditation and zen way of living that the art of zen living should not be in your head but in your daily life. This book is a very small read and anyone who has not even a read book in their lives will found out this book amazing. This book is packed with many beautiful illustrations and every page has no more than 50 words but every line spoken is more than a thousand theories and more valuable than an ounce of gold. I have read over 60 books till now but this stands among the top five in my list just because of the art in this book is crafted from its hardcover to colourful pages to the small 2-3 pages chapters. The Zen transmission started from Buddha and later Bodhidharma introduced it in China and in japan. Later it grew in Japan where it is still attached to its original sources. The whole teaching of Buddha is to live a moderate and blissful life and this book tells us how.

This book is treat for the mind as well as the eyes.
The media could not be loaded. I heard about this book in lallantop from Saurabh Dwivedi.I started to read this book this year, it has brought a new perspective to my life. Not that I didn't know what all is written here. I knew most or atleast some of its stuff from old wisdom. But yes, a good books are like the sunlight which clears away fog in winter mornings. This book put forwards the key points to make ones life better and brings a lot of peace.Coming to the product quality : pages quality is great, hardcover copy is study and not very bulky, you can easily it on your desk and go through the book while taking break from work.there are various illustrations inside which makes it a must buy for anyone. :)

Beautiful book!!
Beautiful book!! Beautifully laid out simple lessons which can bring calmness and peace in day-to-day life. Most lessons are really easy to even share with kids to teach them also the benefits of small daily actions.I already had Kindle version, which I liked a lot, so ordered the printed copy, to share with family members, and I'm really happy to do so. It's a nice hard-bound book with good paper quality and nicely spaced printing fonts with many colourful pictures. Nice for returning back to it now-and-then. It would make a great gift.Money well spent!

Nice book, will recommend to F&F
What i liked is the aesthetics. The pages has less text and lot of blank area, I liked it. You can meditate with this book. I got the hard cover one. You can read the small chapters over and over again and the thoughts will be part of everyday life. Nice quality printing and illustration are so good that it elevates the reading experience. I would recommend this book to friends and family.

Easy to follow habits
Usually the self help books talk about so much gyan and leave us wondering what all action we need to take. But this book gives us 100 ways to transform our life. I am randomly choosing one activity and practising for a week to make it a habit. If you don’t know where to start on habits formation or transformation then this is the book. Very simple and easy to understand and follow.

Nice one to read
"Attempting to define things as good or bad breeds worry and stress"Zen is a simplistic way of living amongst the chaos of everyday world. It is a Japanese Buddhist term, meaning a state of complete peace and calm. The book consists of 100 small Buddhist lessons to live life freely, live peacefully, be calm and embrace death easily. What I loved the most about this book is the lessons are extremely short, but life altering nonetheless. Also the illustrations in each page are soo unique!I have always been intrigued by Buddhism, and hence found the book really interesting. Reading a lesson a day from this book can really make some changes in life.

'Zen' in India
Imagine living in a third world country, and listening to the 'zen' advice. Mostly impractical but good to hear some communities can afford this.
