Bondhus10899 Set of 9 Balldriver Power Bits, sizes 2-12mm

I agree with the following, common observations made by other reviewers:1. Bondhus has a great reputation.2. These ball head drivers are hard to find.3. The bits are well machined.4. The smaller 2.5mm to 4mm bits do look susceptible to breaking off, and can be difficult to use in tight spaces because of the larger shaft.5. My order too came in a small zip lock plastic bag.I'm not a machinist, just a hobby guy, but I don't know why you would use an impact tool on a 4mm bolt; much less on a 2.5mm one. If the drivers do break perhaps it wasn't the right tool, or the correct application of the tool, for the job.However, I too will be disappointed if they do break under "normal" use. But, as one other reviewer claims, you can return broken bits for a replacement.All this for under $20 bucks, and made in America? That's a deal, to me.

I'd been looking for a set of metric bits so I could use with electric screwdriver when working on my motorcycle. Taking off fenders, seat, ect. I purchased the bondhus L-bar kit a little while ago and love it, only kit to have ball tips and every single size up to 10mm I believe. (check them out there on amazon, red holder) and they are the best allen set I've seen or used. As for these bits they make it quick and easy to use something electric to take bolts on/off faster and if I want to torque down I'll grab my L-bars. You could totally use the bits also, just how I like to do it. Only complaint would be I wish they had a case for them. Either way your getting top of the line bits with bondhus quality. Love them. Great for tough angles also because of the ball tips.

I work in a "job-shop" that manufactures parts for various companies. I am a horizontal boring bar machinist (Devlieg). There are times we will machine and assemble fixtures for our customers and in allot of cases it is a tight fit to be able to tighten the fasteners with a standard hex driver that is in the normal socket drive, and a regular "L" shape allen wrench takes a long time to get the bolt down. I bought this set and used my chapman driver and it made life allot easier. After I snug the fastener down with these inserts I then put the insert in a 1/4" socket and use the torque wrench to set the screw. I made a holder for both the SAE and metric in a block of aluminum. I highly recommend these inserts if you need to work in tight areas, I would not drive the smaller inserts with an drill, stripping or ball end removal may occur.

One tip broke on first use, not very strong.

My 3m broke the first day I used it on a barely tightened bolt. Stuck in the bolt and huge headache. Not even worth the hassle to go through the process of contacting bondhus to get a replacement. I’m just disappointed. I work on mailing machinery, nothing insane. That should not have happened.

i just used these in one of my 1/4" impacts and they are working beautifully. The one piece construction means they won't come apart at the attachment point (issue with many I have had) and the larger shafts make it handle a little more torque.I do not have the issue of the recessed bolts with these as I will use a T-handle for those. You aren't going to be putting too much torque onto a bolt you cannot see, if something goes wrong then you won't be able to fix it.Another review stated that they were unhappy with a lack of 7mm. I have never seen a need for a 7mm allen while working socket cap screw s.

Great build quality.I was hoping for some bits that I could get down into some terminals, but these are the full quarter inch size all the way down to the ball and only the ball is reduced in size so they wont-work for this this application. I am going to go ahead and hang on to them though because they are Bondhus and the price was great.

After using these almost every day the past month working with rc vehicles I have learned these are awesome quality precision size ball hex’s. Being ball hex made for easy extraction at a angle they seem to be plenty strong also!

These are very expensive for what you get, but I believe they are the best made.

Las puntas son buenas y muy resistentes, se ajustan muy bien y no se salen al usar el atornillador. El unico detalle es que el paquete esta incompleto, no se envio la punta de 3mm y en su lugar se enviaron 2 puntas de 5mm.
