First off it came a day early. Second I am an antique KJV Bible collector and so far this is absolutely the most beautiful cover out of all my antiques. Touching it was inspiring as you feel the grain and the texture. The cover looks to be very Old English. The inside is gorgeous with the loaded extensive amount of very pristine pictures throughout that tell the immense details of every story. And what i love is that this Bible can be displayed or read!!! The font size is small but readable. But here is another feature that I love!!! The gold gilded pages are the ABSOLUTE INDISPUTABLE NO ARGUMENT BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN HANDS DOWN. The gold inlay of the pages look like a large gold block in your hands. The pages need to be flipped to get it loose but the gilding is spot on!!! The size is medium size to read in bed or at a table. And finally the gold ribbon is very nice and a good satin finish. Barnes and Nobles did an excellent job publishing this Bible. I even compared the scriptures to ensure it is authentic KJV and yes!!! Even the binding is pristine with upper and lower raised hubs and continual design. This Bible gives you the feel of Roman Old English charm with the age look of this Bible. You purchased this as a wedding gift and I was so pleased with that from now on I will be back to buy more anytime. I need a gift like this. The bride and groom both loved it as did the entire bridal shower guests. Very good quality nice way to start your family.

First of all, I didn't t grow up in a family that went to church, prayed or read from the Holy Bible. I had been feeling a pull to get a Holy Bible and connect with God, but I didn't know which bible to get. I decided to go with this one and am glad I did. I didn't realize this when I first purchased it, but this KJV of the Holy bible contains the old testament and the new testament. Not to mention, it is very beautiful and contains pictures. It also has a convenient ribbon book mark making it easy to find where you left off. For me, I learn more and more about my faith, spiritually and God everyday. I recommend getting this Bible if thats what your heart is telling you to do.

The illustrations are great. The pages are substantial. It's 2.5x the thickness of my other bibles, and that's almost entirely from the page thickness.

A very beautiful book with beautiful illustrations by Gustav Dore. It is a high-quality book for a very reasonable price. You would be hard pressed to find such a quality book at this price.

Beautiful Bible and the pages dont bleed through making it easy to read

I do not have any regrets buying this Bible, it is absolutely a showstopper. The gold trim on the pages is so beautiful in dazzling, and even Sparkles like glitter when you move it around. Most Bibles the pages are very thin almost a bit see through, not this book. It does not feel cheap in any aspect. They're nice and thick and for a good reason, it has pictures. The pictures are beautiful, that's something that I wanted to have the most. I needed a book that was not only going to take me mentally into it, but also visually as well, and this delivered that to me. I would happily be proud to pass this down in my family. This is a beautiful gift if you are going to give this to anybody it's probably the best thing you could ever do. If you have an opportunity to buy this book Don't Think Twice you'll never regret it I promise you. If you did want to have it protected in a cover you can find it on Amazon I managed to find one just make sure that the spine is 3 inch thickness.
