Super fun way to learn the Australian lingo
My husband is Australian so this was a fun way to introduce to friends some of the crazy phrases that are used. We purchased for a high school multicultural event and will use these again and again. Fun purchase.

Very unique and fun
Our son is so intrigued by Australia and liked these cards. Even his friend who lives there wasn't sure of some of the words!

Awesome Aussie Lingo Card Deck from a True Aussie!
I am an Aussie living in the US for the past 20+ years and when I saw these I just had to order them. The deck arrived in a sealed tin which really added to the gifting quality, the presentation is excellent.A sealed pack of cards is inside the tin. The card pack is also presented well with raised embossed lettering on the pack. The cards all have a word or saying and then the meaning upside down. I went through the whole pack and there were only a couple I didn't know (maybe region-specific terms) and it was fun remembering these terms and words. It is certainly good for a laugh, especially for people who have never heard of terms such as these or how they possibly came about.I am not sure exactly how to incorporate these terms into a card game. But it is a good way to learn and have fun at the same time. 'Crikey Mate' as Steve used to say, this is an awesome Aussie Lingo card pack. There is also a sticker included for the sticker lovers. The only thing we were surprised about; the Joker cards were blank! What? Why are there no terms or sayings on the Jokers? This was disappointing, surely you could find some good Aussie Joker terms.I would absolutely recommend this Aussie Lingo card deck as a gift for yourself, or any Aussie-loving family member, friend, or colleague. 5-Stars for sure mate!

FUN!
Fun playing cards. Learn some Aussie slang to share with your mates while you win all of their money! The cards themselves are nicely made and I'm quite fond of the metal tin that they come in. It's great for storage and lugging around safely in a bag full of other stuff. They're also a great icebreaker when playing with new people.

Wow, I am impressed!
This arrives in a cute yellow and blue metal tin - that is perfectly designed and decorated. There is a cream with brown print paper seal on top and honestly I am very impressed with this product so far. From there the cards inside are thick and sturdy while providing full deck of cards and the best bonus is the Aussie Slang words - my kids had a very fun time the first time and every time after that when we play cards.Super fun set of cardsMy kids are 9 and 10 and honestly have fun with the slang words every time we playExcellent presentation - I am highly impressed! We are going to get the British Slang Lingo next and then hopefully all of them!

Fun to read and play
Regular deck of playing cards with a fun twist. Good way to start conversations or have fun with the lingo. The packing is quite thoughtful with a tin box as well as the traditional cardboard sleeve. These are decent cards too. Thick enough that they will last, but not so thick they can't be shuffled… pretty much like most any deck of cards. I did find that after a while the design on the back of the cards started to annoy me, but not too bad. I also found that the font used for the lingo is not the easiest to read.So these are not perfect. Still a fun pack to have and use.
