Great product, great price
My Samsung printer recently stopped working, and I was considering replacing it. Luckily I had the idea that maybe I should try a new USB cable first just to make sure the cable wasn't the only thing broken. I found these Belkin cables for a very reasonable price. After receiving it in the mail, I plugged the cable in and my printer works again! Saved me a hundred or more dollars. Also I'd like to give a shout-out to Amazon's superb service. I accidentally ordered 2 cables, and didn't even notice that I had clicked it. I was thus a little upset to discover two cables arriving at my house. I went online to return the item, and Amazon offered to refund me the money without having to even return the cables because I was a "loyal customer". Awesome! Now that's customer service. (I think it would've have been worth it to Amazon to even pay the return shipping). And this is the real reason Amazon is kicking butts and taking names, because the customer service of this virtual store is better than most physical brick-and-mortar stores.

Does what is expected
I purchased this cable so that my daughter and her roomates can share one printer by use of a usb cable. The cable arrived on time, and appears to be well manufactured, although the test of time can only tell. I've had expensive cables last little or not time, and cheap cables last forever. At less than $5, this cable was a no brainer, as I could by many of these, as opposed to an expensive cable. At this point, they have been using the cable for over a month, and have had no problems, which I would hope will continue. However, if a cable is not treated properly, I don't find the cost of the cable to be of any consequence, as even expensive cables can be destroyed, just as easy as a cheap one.I will update this at a later date, or if the cable ceases to work, to verify the longevity of the cable. Again, this cable is being used by several college students, who switch the cable between several computers for use of a single printer.

great cable, low price
For the price, this cable is everything you need. I use it to connect my printer to my pc. The length is great since my printer is on the top shelf of my desk and my computer sits on the floor. The quality is pretty fantastic too as it's not flimsy and the ends feel like they're pretty high quality (ie. they snap in well and stay in the female jacks). I've had this cable for around a year and have never had any problems with signal loss or anything like that. The usb end that connects to the pc has a pretty standard/low profile so my other USB plugs can jack in right next to it with no problem. If I needed more, I'd definitely order this again.

Computer Peripheral Cable - Cheap & Excellent!
This is a humble but required part running between computer and a peripheral, in this case a new printer. It wasn't included with the printer I was purchasing according to my shopping research. The printer can operate wirelessly, which is a desirable feature. My research showed it did require a cable in order to scan items into files. Had the printer on hand and wasn't sure about the cost/benefit ratio of heading out to shop for the cable from a limited selection of stores. Amazon to the rescue with one of its pre-Christmas deals. Cable with free shipping at a price well below the in-store price, with no added time investment or gas burned.Belkin is a well established manufacturer of needed but not-so-sexy items that keep our electronics up and running for us.Very happy with both the item and the price/service by Amazon!

Works great, good price, appears to be genuine Belkin product
I ordered this cable to go with my new Brother printer (it was the cable Amazon recommended). I've seen other reviews indicating that the cable the reviewer received did not appear to be a Belkin cable (that is, the cable was not labeled as such on the packaging or on the cable itself). That was not my experience - the cable I received was in a Belkin package, and I believe had "Belkin" stamped on the cable itself. Just FYI for those who may be worried that they won't get what they ordered...The printer instructions recommended a USB 2.0 cable no longer than 6 feet. This cable is 10 feet, but so far it appears to be working just fine. The price was right too - just $4.47.

Plug and play USB 2.0
I needed a USB 2.0 cable to extend the reach of a Dexis digital X-ray sensor. These were perfect. Actually we had installed 2 lengths of single port 16' Tripp Lite USB 2.0 active extension cables from a pc and used this 10' cable as the final reach to a 2-port Cables to Go USB 2.0 switch box which was then connected to a 4-port USB 2.0 hub (also by Belkin). All the cables were in underground PVC tubing and routed from the PCs to the operatory cabinets. The sensor was plugged into the powered hub and everything worked great. I tested the speed using a USB thumb drive and each PC gave me readings of 22.4 MB/s (or about 180 Mb/s). I've heard stories of iffy USB cable connectors and/or wire gauges that were too high (thickness too small); but these were good performers. Overall I am satisfied.
