We camp a lot and to save on time / dishes, we prepare a lot of food at home ahead of time which necessitates needing to pack a *lot* of food into a cooler. Because we typically freeze pre-made dishes in gallon freezer bags, they don't take up a lot of room in the cooler (and they act as ice themselves) but we hate wasting money on ice cubes for that 'extra' safe temperature.That's where these slim, brightly-colored ice packs come into play. They're perfect, they're long lasting, and they don't take up much room in the cooler. At camp (we 'cabin camp,' and there is a fridge with a freezer in each cabin) we just put our food in the fridge to defrost and we pop these into the freezer. That way, they'll be ready for the cooler / trip back home to keep any leftover food nice & cold.These are also a good size to wrap in a hand towel to ice injuries, and there's enough in the box to ensure that you're not waiting for one to re-freeze while needing to start icing again.

I purchased the multi color 4pk for 9.99. It’s a good value! They are square with a circular cut out in the middle. The colors are bright and attractive. We have been using these daily, M-F since early September and they are still intact. I have noticed now when they freeze they bulge on the one side in a specific spot and therefore no longer lay completely flat when frozen. I was worried this would compromisr them, but we have had no issues so far.I keep them stacked in the freezer at all times, and use two each day, rotating them (use two one day, then they sit all day in the freezer the next, then use again etc) to ensure adequate re-freezing time. They come out of the freezer at 8:30AM. By 4:30P, they are sweating, thawed but still very cold to the touch. By 7:30P they are chilled but still not exactly room temperature yet. This is without access to a refrigerator all day. I absolutely love how thin they are. Doesn’t take up much space in the freezer or the lunchbox, is lightweight yet still manages to keep my kiddos lunch cool all day. For under $10.00 I am thrilled! Thank you!Just FYI- these are too big to put inside of a kid size Bentgo box (clearly my measuring sucks! 😂.).

Awesome thin ice packs. Work great in lunch boxes and keeps your food cold for hours. However, depending on the timeframe, they won’t be ice for too many hours. Thawed out in my insulated lunch box, with additional frozen water bottles, after around 4.5 hours. This is why it’s only 4 stars. Still I think they are amazing with how thin they are, much more convenient than the chonky ice packs.

I use these for my work lunch bag. They’re small and fit into any lunch bag. They keep things cold for a long time. I’m glad I got them. They’re cute and nice colors too.

The slim design makes these good for lunchboxes of all sizes. They seem durable and wash up easily. No leaks yet, and I use them every day.
