Whetstone

This G6 was low cost and perfect for my Cobra Commander costume (I had a G.I. Joe vs Barbie Theme). The contruction of the pistol is not cheap, has a nice weighted feel, and best of all is mostly made of metal and full size. Problem with many low cost airsoft weapons is that they are plastic and not full size. The handle and operating parts are plastic but not a problem.I used this item as only a costume piece so I could not tell you how accurate it is or usefulness for the airsoft sport. I also broke the inside barrel accidently to give it more of a realistice look for my costume (be sure to check with local laws on toy weapons looking realistic and in public). I was still able to do some simple target shooting on my lunch break with the gun even though my aim was now a bit off from the barrel not being permenantly attached.Only complaints on this pistol is that the magazine release is a little slower to come out the handle than spring release magazines but on the plus size it is more durable than other magazines. I'm not thrilled about 1/2 inch thickness that the magazine has on the bottom but its not a deal breaker.For the look, feel, and purpose, the "G6 Heavy Metal Airsoft Gun Pistol Black w/ BB's 1:1 Full Scale" was a great buy!

It is very tough and heavy. When I took it out of the box, I noticed several scratches on the Metal parts of the Gun. Also had to same problem with my G.1. Not too noticeable though. About 240fps, and can shoot through the first layer of a soda can from about 3-4 yards away. Just a bit loud after being broken in and sounds Beastly when shot.6/14/11 Okay so, It has been a week, and throughout the week the gun has been working fine. But just yesterday, every time I cocked the gun back, it put 2 pellets in the chamber... Soooo... 4stars now, but, it can easily be fixed by getting a lighter, heating the point of which you put the bullets in, and using some pliers to bend the 2 pieces closer to each-other, to make it narrower, thus, only allowing 1 BB through at a time. I hope this is helpful to those who has experienced the same problem.

This item broke after a week of having it. I just took it out of the box and tried it out and "click" the trigger broke.So don't buy this!!!

Very good for the price! My only problem is that the magazine is a little lose when you put it in but other than that this gun everyone should buy

I bought this mostly for target practice in my apartment. I found that it wasn't very accurate, and it was quite loud. Additionally, I would often find it shot multiple bb's at once. It still was pretty cool shooting targets inside / outside.I did like how solid it felt for such a inexpensive air soft gun.

Chose this rating because it did what it was suppose to do, Would recommend it for young responsible kids. Was easy to use.

Full metal body, very accurate with .20 gram bbs (recommended). Only thing is after a while when you crank the slide, it loads two or three bbs and gets stuck: Solution- Heat the two little walls on top of the magazine then close the space between them.
