Bleach: v. 19 (Bleach) (Paperback)

An epic and important volume of Bleach! Starting off with the conclusion of the Yoruichi vs Soi Fon fight, with some emotional backstory between them, things quickly move on to the meat of the volume, which is the final showdown between Ichigo and his nemesis, Rukia's cold and aloof brother, Captain Kuchiki. The comic really shines with this battle. Lots of detail and shading during this (the JP version actually had a whole chapter in full-colour, but not us...) Ichigo shows us how far he has come with Zangetsu, and we again witness Kuchiki's terrifying power. Yes, Bleach does follow the formulaic power crawler model so often seen in action manga, but it does it with style and a certain cool factor that keeps you coming back for more. The final chapter also pushes the central storyline forward but still leaves more questions than answers. An excellent and worthy addition to the series.

The fight between Ichigo and Byakuya is epic. As their battle comes to an end, the story also returns to the mysterious murders within the Soul Society and leaves fans on a cliffhanger that promises for more exciting revelations that will undoubtedly pave the way for the next story arc.

Bleach is a really brilliant manga series; I definitely recommend buying this series of books to anyone who enjoys reading manga.

Would like to thank the seller for using a super sturdy packaging, resulting the book coming in the best possible condition. Volume 19 consists of chapters from 159 to 168. The artwork is a delight to eyes and the pages are super dark and contrasting. The very first fight of Ichigo and Byakuya holds in this volume.

It has great quality, I recommend it to everyone.

This series is almost unequaled in its depth of characters, its storylines, and its length. A well written almost never ending tale of action adventure love betrayal death and almost everything human. Buy the manga, Buy the movies, Buy the dvd's. If you can find it on blu-ray pick it up and keep it forever. Its certainly worth it.
