Great car lots of fun!
Got this for my 5 yr old son. It’s turned out to be much better than I originally expected. It’s durable, responsive, goes about 20 mph, and gets about 15-20 minutes run time on full throttle. The plastic on the skid plates has worn down pretty quick but that’s what concrete will do. The biggest saver is the parts list in the back of the manual. If you break a part, simply find the picture that matches the broken part and get a new one. The parts I’m getting are coming from Hong Kong - BUT it’s express shipping with DHL which is a little less than a week... I’m not sure if this is normal procedure with replacement parts but at least it’s nice to know that if something breaks, it CAN be fixed. The customer service has been really good too. I was surprised at how fast I got a response asking about parts. For a $65 RC car, this has been a great beginner training experience for my son. Maybe one day he’ll get to drive my Traxxas X-Maxx!

Fast and durable
My kids and I got this and another similar RC truck and we love it. It's super fast, pretty simple to control, and takes a beating. My son sent this one off a ledge, landing 4 ft below on concrete. All I had to do was flip it over and it was ready to go again. Battery lasts 15-20 min running hard on flat dirt at mostly full throttle. The battery should be a quicker easier change, but it's not too bad if a hassle. Overall this is a great RC car for the money.

Great Truggy! Outstanding customer support!
This is a very capable and fun R/C vehicle! They even gave us an upgraded vehicle after we had an issue with the original one. 5 STARS!!!!!

Fast and fun. Great battery life. Broke an real axle pretty quick though.
My son is hooked. Loves driving this all day. It is fast and the battery life great. Pretty sure some pine straw got bound in the right rear wheel axle. Unfortunately, it snapped. Needing to replace. Looks to be an easy fix.

Car Broke Immediately
We opened the package, connected the battery and went to play in the front yard. After less than an hour of play, one of the parts connecting the wheel to the engine broke. The car is fast and fun, but I've never encountered any RC toy that is this fragile. They should have used metal for the connections between the engine and the wheels, the fact that it's plastic makes this toy almost immefiate garbage.I'm contacting Amazon to see what can be done.

Fine
Brushed motor is good ,waterproof and powerful steering was good but when the car came the rear left dog bone came cracked and shocks did not come with oil, so it was overall a fine car.

Still going after 2 years of play.
It's been a great purchase. Super fast and easy to steer. The battery dies rather quickly when you're running it at max speed. Probably get a good hour's play before needing another charge. Still playing with this 2 years later without needing to replace anything. We run it roughly in the yard. Nice toy!

Balanced performance/handling. Accessible yet feature-rich. Recommended at the $100 price range.
The media could not be loaded. Perhaps an unpopular opinion: you could have even more fun with this car at its lowest speed setting. The remote control has a speed dial that allows you to adjust the speed limit. I find the car easier to maneuver and fun to play with at lower speed settings. The car accelerates and decelerates at various speeds proportionate to how hard/light you press the trigger on the remote. The same goes for steering, made more comfortable with a foam-wrapped steering wheel on the remote. The steering can be calibrated using one of the two dials on the remote (as seen in the video clip). The chassis, made of strengthened plastic, feels sturdy in hand. Multiple bumps and collisions after, mine is still solid and in one piece. However, I found the product description inaccurate; once you remove the car-shaped lid, you notice that none of the internal components are properly sealed. Electrical components, including circuit boards, solder points, unprotected wires, are exposed. As such, beware and think twice before you drive it through water or in the rain! That said, this car has independent front and rear suspensions, improving handling and performance on uneven surfaces. The tires appear to be glued to the wheels. The grip and traction on both gravel and paved surfaces are satisfactory. When driven at a higher speed and on wet grass, the tires lose a bit of traction and become slippery, but this is expected. The clearance is about an inch off the ground. Both the front and rear axles have open differentials, allowing a wheel to spin at a higher speed while the other spins slower (as seen in my video, when I hold a wheel while letting the wheels spin). The differentials are a much-appreciated bonus as they add to the car’s handling, given that I never expected such a thing from an RC car that only cost me around $140. I have not encountered any trouble running the car on a lawn with uncut grass (as seen in the last 20 seconds of my video). As for the battery, two lithium-polymer battery packs alongside a USB-charging cable were provided. The batteries are rated at 1000 mAh at 7.4 Volts, and they longer than expected. In the times I had a blast with it over the past two weeks, I usually got tired before the battery was depleted; thus, I never got the chance to replace and use the second battery. One thing I found particularly tricky is the plug connecting the battery cable and the car. The connectors on both parts are way too snuggle. Switching battery requires some force and nails and may not be suitable for young children to handle.I saw that other users had purchased additional battery packs on Amazon, and I noticed that the handbook that comes with the box has the names, specifications, and product illustrations of replacement parts printed at the end—an indication that parts can be bought and replaced in cases where damage occurs. All things considered, this RC car has balanced performance and handling. It is accessible yet feature-rich. As a beginner’s RC car at over $100 price range, I would recommend this one and its sibling models.

Great value
For the price. You cannot go wrong. This thing works great and for a beginner....Its great.. Its fast. Pretty easy to control and is a good size. On the slow speed if you use it cautiously... You can even use it in the house. Which can be fun. My only issue so far.. The complete battery/charging system. Firstly it can only be charged via a USB port. Secondly the body has to be removed every time you charge it or even to switch from one battery to the next. Its definately a simple procedure just removing 4 pins. But its still annoying that you have to do it. If battery access would have have been a little easier. This would be the perfect RC for a starter IMO.

if you crash it lots, a few metal parts upgrades are recommended!
There are some reviews bashing the lil rc, but its just like a real vehicle, if you crash it, damage will occur. This little thing is torquey, so in high speed mode, full trigger starts put a lot of stress on the plastic gears, as do fast stops and switching between fwd and reverse while vehicle is in motion. Once wear and tear sets in (will directly reflect how you drive it) the mandatory parts you will need to replace are first the drive shafts, with metal ones 30-WJ02 on the front, 30-WJ06 on rear, and rear transmission cups 30-WJ04 (front cups come with front driveshaft. I've found that Hosim 1:16 9130 (34,36,37,38) series parts fit, as do parts for the Q903 brushless which is identical in appearance. Since mine is well used, and sadly seen some fierce crashes, i have also upgraded to metal differentials (Q901-Z603) front and rear although rear was the only one to fail, and metal driveshaft gears (Q901-ZJ05) to complete the metal drive train upgrade. I've gotten better with control, and more careful, as I am trying to avoid upgrading to the metal steering set up, I'd rather not put too much more time and money in, but this also happens with the big brand names as they require upgraded parts with wear and tear just the same. Battery life is crazy long, usually 40 mins per battery, and longer if throttle is trimmed down. I have trimmed down the 'locking' tabs to make disconnecting the battery much easier, I also remove battery and hold it while disconnecting so that I don't end up pulling wires on a fastened battery. Take care of this, and it will last, if you beat on it, prepare to work on it. In conclusion, this is a great starter rc for someone wanting to eventually get more serious, I've learned LOTS. Not reeeeeally a kids toy, unless that kid is very responsible, and has a true appreciation of the value of a dollar.

Poor product and poor customer service
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my nephew, who has driven a number of my very expensive RC cars, and within a month it has stopped working. I’ve reached out to the seller regarding the warranty and after discussing what’s happened they offered to send us the part needed and if I can install it, I said that was acceptable. Then they came back and said they wanted to send a used car to salvage parts from, which was a NO from me, this is not how a warranty works and I was not going to accept used parts. After making that clear they asked me to buy the parts from a seller in the US and they would reimburse me, again NO, this is not how warranty works. I deal with warranty issues weekly at work and have never asked a customer to take used parts or to pay for them up front. Support the product you sell or don’t sell it ! This issue is still not resolved and taking far to long ! You have 3 options - 1, send a brand new part that fixes the problem. 2, send a new replacement car. Or 3, give me a refund !
