Love it - very versatile and practical
I tried a bunch of things to protect my face and nose against cold air in the winter. Balaclava is good but once I enter the indoor space it's too hot to keep it on. Regular Buff is not warm enough and anything made with fleece gets soggy cold when wet. Then I found this. It's made of Merino wool so it's non itchy and super soft, and best of all, keeps me warm even when moist from exhalation. It's long enough so I can use it as a baraclava or layered to increase warmth depending on the temperature. I prefer to keep one layer on my nose and everything below gets 2 layers so I can still breath easily while the rest of my face stays warm in cold wind. Like all neck gaitors or baraclavas that cover the nose, it will fog up your glasses or goggles if they are big. I am able to avoid that by using a pair of sunglasses with small lenses. That way the warm moist area can mostly escape before hitting the lenses. I wash it by hand and air dry, but it can be used many times before needing washing. Very pleased with this purchase. The price is great. The navy color goes with everything without looking like everyone else's basic black.

Warm and light for cold winters. Easy to pack and care for.
Best scarf / facemask we ever bought and it kept us warm enough in the winter at below 30 F temps. Love it so much I bought some for the in laws. I used it in my Alaska trip hiking. Will def buy again!

I’m buying a second one
I bought this last December and was on here to add another to my cart. I love this gaiter. It is very versatile. I can use to as a head band that holds back my hair, adjust it to cover my ears, use it as a hat, and the main reason I bought it was to breath through when hiking on. Cold weather to help my asthma. I can raven breath through it while putting the back part over my head do I have what looks like a ski cap. Very comfortable and the perfect amount of warmth for me. I hiked all through the winter in ohio last year using this gaiter. The one issue is that it advertises as staying dry. I sweat right through it. But it does dry faster than other material and smells fresh.

Great product!
Love it. Thin, light, warm and soft. Stretches well. It’s approximately 10 x 24 inches flat. Not so tight for me. Will order another color .

Lighter than expected.
This is thinner than expected in texture and color. Looking for more navy and this is closer to royal blue

Works great for what I needed
Purchased this to wear while walking the dog in cold winds which occur all the time here on the Maine coast. I needed something to pull over my nose and mouth due to sensitive teeth and this seems to work well so far. It’s also versatile enough to pull down as a neck gaiter on less windy days.Beautiful fabric, great wind blocker - I’m very happy with it.

Effective and versatile
I bought this to compare to my scarf, and I actually like it much better than the scarf. Instead of taking it on and off when going to and from work, I can just leave it on all day, so my neck stays warm but there are no dangling ends to get in my way or get caught by anything. Also, I can pull it over my mouth and nose more easily and securely than trying to do the same thing with the scarf. You can even theoretically pull it over your whole head with your face sticking out, if you forgot your hat and also want to keep your ears warm. It comes with a paper that demonstrates multiple ways to wear it.I was afraid that this would be itchy, but although it is not exactly super-soft, I haven't noticed any itchiness. It might be different for people with more sensitive skin, though; I'm not sure. The only minor complaint I have is that it's not very stretchy when bunched up, and I have to be careful when putting it on (I was not careful enough one time and accidentally squished my eyeballs a bit, though the sensation quickly faded and there doesn't seem to be any lasting effect). You can alternatively pull it on along its length like a sock rather than bunching it up like I do, but I don't really like the sock method because it musses my hair more and causes a bit of static electricity buildup. But if it was any looser, it probably wouldn't do as good a job of keeping my neck warm, so the complaint is _very_ minor.Overall, I recommend this product.

Soft, durable, and moisture wicking product.
I haven't had mine that long but after taking it out on a backpacking trip and using it for the short time I have I can say it is a quality product. The material is soft but durable and is great for keeping the sweat off your skin. After 3 days sweating in it on my backpacking trip it still smells fresh as expected with merino wool. I would definitely suggest this to other people based off my experience this far.
