Our older Oreck vacuum has been working horribly for quite some time now. Orecks are notoriously loud to begin with but ours had begun to make a deafeningly loud, high-pitched noise every time we used it and it was a work-out trying to push it while vacuuming our carpeted floors. One day we realized the vacuum wasn't even stirring the carpet any longer even though it was so hard to push. Turning it over, we saw that the rotating brush head had completely worn out. Finding this replacement one online so competitively priced, we decided to give it a try. Shipping was prompt. Following an instructive video online, we found this replacement rotating brush easy to install. It even came with extra belts. Once the new roller and belts were installed, our old Oreck was like a different machine - less noisy by far and a whole lot easier to push around. We found this new roller brush works perfectly and makes vacuuming a breeze compared to before. Highly recommend
