These gutter leaf filters work better than most metal style guards at a fraction of the cost. If the slope of the roof is steep enough, a lot of the metal guards work as a ramp to allow the water to skate across them missing the gutter completely. These are simple to install. The only tool required to install them is a hand saw or large knife to cut the final piece to size for each gutter section. These guards sit inside the gutters and are completely invisible from the ground. I bought this set to replace a set I purchased from Home Depot over five years ago. I assumed that the original set had deteriorated over the years. To my surprise, other than being a little faded I could not tell a difference from these and the original ones. When purchasing these as a multipack you will need to take them out of the box a couple days before the installation day to allow them to fully expand.

We had new gutters installed along with new roofs eight years ago. Shortly afterward I found GutterStuff (Gutter Guard) at Home Depot and since it was affordable bought enough to do all the gutters on our home and outbuildings. This product is very easy to install, the only tool you will need is a sharp knife for cutting and trimming. Works great! the wedge shaped black foam material fills the gutter and prevents leaves, sticks, etc from getting caught while keeping birds from nesting in the gutters. I just finished an inspection / cleaning of the foam, only the second time in 8 years, and it is still in good shape. Very little deterioration from UV. My only problem is that moss has started to grow in several places. We live near the coast and mosses can be a headache. I just bought a box from Amazon to have replacement material on hand for areas where I need to replace small pieces damaged by moss. Highly recommended!

Great product for the money

Does a fantastic job keeping the gutters clean. Easy to install.

Giving this product a one star rating and that’s being generous. Not a good product. I ordered the 5” for a 4” gutter thinking it would give a nice snug fit. It was 5” tall but barely 3” wide leaving a1” gap. It might keep some of the larger leaves out of the gutter but seeds and pine needles will just fall in the gap. Will have to remove the foam to clean out the gutter anyway. I will leave it in for this year to see how it actually works out but I have a feeling I’ll probably just end up removing it and throwing it away. Glad I only bought it for a small shed. Disappointing product and a waste of money.

I have used this gutter guard material for years. I install it on my garage gutters, which can be easily reached on a step ladder. The higher gutters on my house have mesh screens on them and they do not have any problem with clogging. I use this foam gutter insert on the lower gutters because it has worked well. You need to know that they do not last for 10 years or so but I usually get a good 6 or more years out of them before I need to replace. Of course it will depend on your situation about how much direct hot sun or other conditions they are exposed to. I find any leaves that will lay on top of the foam will blow off once they dry. I've never had any issues with rainwater not being able to flow.

They were easy to install and should do a good job keeping leaves out of the gutter. I'm under a group of oak trees that drop tons of leaves so I needed something. They seem lighter and flimsier than a similar product I bought at a hardware store but hopefully they will hold up well but I can't speak to their durability yet. In my opinion for light foam they are overpriced.

I ordered 4 boxes with each having 32' of gutter guard. It was cheaper to buy 4 boxes of 32' than one box of 144'. They should really figure out better pricing. Anyway, first box arrived today and I quickly installed them in the gutters on my shed. The word "quickly" is an understatement. I had 24' of gutters on my shed and these were installed within 10 minutes. 5 minutes of that was spent drinking a beer. They were super easy to install. The gutters on my shed are mounted with gutter brackets instead of gutter nails. The gutter brackets sit lower in the gutter than gutter nails but it was still incredibly easy to install these right under the brackets. I guess you could cut a notch out for the gutter brackets/nail but I didn't even bother because I don't believe it would help the application at all. Just stuff them under the brackets/nails and you're good to go. I can't review the longevity of these as I have just installed them but I can say that they're super easy to install and I can't imagine any reason why they wouldn't hold out leaves/debris over time. The price is great and the install process is even better. I'm very happy with this purchase. I recommend drinking 1 beer for every 24' that you install. 144 feet of gutters would be a 6-pack. That should do you good and make for a perfect Saturday project away from the wife and kids.

Comes in 6 foot strips and very easy to install. My last installation lasted 14 years so I like this type of product.

Seems to be better than some other gutter foam in letting water through without clogging up. Last at least 5 years.
