Big Hitter Blue Rough Maximum Spin Polyester Tennis String

These a very good strings for a poly. They are the softest poly I've used. I played with Snake Bite string for a while and those did not have the power as the Big Hitter does and the Snake Bite really made my arm hurt which has never happen before. Power is very good. I strung my about 4 lbs looser than normal and can still control and place the ball where I want to.I play on a 3.5 mens USTA team and a couple of the guys changed to these strings after they played against me.The rough edges are not too aggressive like the snake bite strings. My top spin serve can literally bounce over my opponents head. It's was crazy watching him look above his head as I aced him.I did notice my volleys fly deeper than they I was used to, which is not a terrible thing, it's just something I need to be more conscience of.These are also very durable. I break the synthetic gut in about a month. These did get a little looser after a lot of play, but there not broken and show no sign of breaking.I tried a hybrid string with some synthetic gut, but prefer the whole racket done in the big hitter rough.Great price, great string. Best poly on the market in my humble opinion

Great string. I used to have tennis elbow when I played with other poly but not this. I stringed a little lower tension than normal. Great bite on the ball. Ton of spin. Balls looked like go out but kept drop in.

Good price , delivers within two days . I have used many different strings but for the time I am happy to use these .I string around 40lbs, play 3-4 times a week and these last about 3 weeks before they break .I’d recommend these to try . Especially for the price.

I have been using the "regular" Big Hitter Blue string so this was my first encounter with the rough. It plays well and does add some extra spin but not as much as I assumed it would. I would buy this again.

Good product, durable and plays well.

We have strung three rackets with this string. The strings broke on two of them after one session of play. I have been purchasing strings online for about 10 years and have never encountered this problem. Since this is my first time with these strings, I can't tell if I received a bad batch or if the problem is generic. Either way, they are pretty much useless. It is not a question of tension or stringing technique as those factors have not changed. I plan to pack this up and send what is left back.

These polys are decent for the price but there are much better ones out there. The string doesn't "feel" as high end upon opening the package. It feels thinner than the 17G. I played with Luxilon, Solinco, and RPM Blast and I find all these strings to "feel" more substantial out of the package.I didn't feel I have very good control this soft string. Sometimes I had very good spin but other time, very soft cushy shots. I cut these out after about 4 days of hitting.

The first 2 hours is great. But the comfort goes first, making my elbow sore. Then the feel gets a bit dicey, and then the power is completely lost. It's good if you have the luxury to string your racket on a daily basis.

Picture shows a 660 foot reel. Product received is a 40 ft package. So it is overpriced instead of great deal.

Not really qualified to make judgement on this string. I am admittedly not a poly user. This string is much softer than most poly's I have used and does play better after the first use.

Good Polyester string for added Durability. Nice added softness to it, making a touch more forgiving than something like ALU Power. Good price too
