SeachemAlgae Scrapper

I did initially think this Algae scraper was on the expensive side, but I read the blurb and it sounded like a well thought out tool...quite possibly worth the money! Honestly it didn't dissapoint, I saw some complaints about the length ppl received, I actually read the size & decided the middle sized 30cm one should get close enough as an all rounder, I like the fact there's a sm, med & large version and when I'm feeling a bit more flush, I'd happily get the others! It scrapes even the old stubborn algae spots off the sides of the tanks effortlessly, the handle is chunky enough to not be fiddly but not so bulky to make it hard to hold (assuming you don't have small child hands I guess) and yes the white colour does make it easy to see where you've missed! I didn't drop it, but I did purposefully test it's 'floatiness' just for the sake of 'science' & can also confirm...yes it does float!!So to sum up, my Seachem Algae Scraper has been put on my 'Happy Purchase' list, it did everything I wanted it too, the only thing that would of improved my experience was if I already had the other sizes in my arsenal...along with a suggestion to Seachem...consider making another 'size up' ready for when I get my 30" deep aquarium up & running!

Had a wall of algae and had tried everything to remove it, lots of elbow grease. Was recommended this, tried it and literally peeled it off with no effort! Absolutely brilliant!

Brilliant cleaner but you get wet hands. needs longer handle

I bought this for my tank as I had managed to grow hard green algae which wasn’t even touched by the magnetic scraper… I had low expectations as nothing else had worked.I wasn’t sure whether to get this one or a cheaper version (I didn’t buy the cheaper one, so can’t comment on its relative effectiveness) but, I’m really pleased with this!The design is clever, and comfortable to use. It’s sturdy and I like the retractable blade.Also, because it retracts, the blade doesn’t go to the edge - which protects the tank seals.My tank looks amazing now, and I’m really pleased. I would buy again (but don’t know why I would need to - they sell replacement blades) and would definitely recommend it, even though it does feel expensive.

This is a great algae scraper. Does not scratch glass at all. Highly recommend it

Who knew an algae scraper could be so awesome!I was having a ‘spot algae’ (GSA) problem; other scrapers and scrubbers weren’t working.This scraper took algae off the glass instantly, with no effort. Also works on curved glass, in a smaller tank (Fluval flex).The metal blade can be reversed and there’s a foam-style edge for clean up.Highly recommend this product Works exceptionally well, exactly as advertised.

Finalmente ho risolto il problema delle alghe ostinate sul vetro. Potevo grattare anche tutto il giorno con la spugna ma nulla. Questo raschietto mi ha salvata. Una passata ed ha pulito tutto. Costo elevato ma ne vale veramente la pena.
