Gripping office device!
This thing is pretty phenomenal for the office. I don't know if I would keep this in a personal gym as another piece of equipment for a workout session, but for working out in what would otherwise be unused time in a work day, this kicks the proverbial butt. I saw a coworker who had one, used his, and ordered this that first night.Be aware that it is not a brute strength device, but rather an endurance focused piece. I have a job which requires me to be on the phone and when I'm not typing, I can pick this up and use it for a minute or two and definitely feel the burn. I have very strong wrists and large forums and this is great when used correctly. Good for distraction or to get the blood flowing a bit when sitting at a desk all day.Pros:- Workout your forearms in the office without disturbing anyone (other than the people who smile and wave back to your bobbing hand)- Adjustable settings make this useful to most people. I crank it all the way up and go until I can't anymore.- Can be flipped for extensions as well as curls- *Can* be used for finger(s) isolation. This is admittedly a bit tricky, but worth the experimentationCons:- Wrist size. I have rather large wrists (6' 260#) and the wrist grip is snug. I work with a lot of people who were collegiate athletes, now 1-4 years out of school, and they have no issues. The majority of people won't.- Hand grip loosens regularly during use - minor issue - just keep tightening the screws after use

a good supplemental forearm workout
Ive actually purchased one of these before, no idea what happened to it but it was probably lose in a move or something, so the fact that i purchased another should say something to start.forearms are a somewhat weird muscle to workout, wrist curls and a "wrist roller" are probably youre best bet for them (Pro tip, take a broom stick and drill a hole, put a sturdy rope/twine through the hole and something to be able to hold weight at the bottom for a DIY wrist roller). this item allows for essentially wrist curls to be done without a barbell or dumbbell. its pretty solidly built, not saying you could abuse it and drop it but its not going to break via normal use. its simple to use, the most annoying part may be trying to dial in the hand position to get the proper movement, but there isnt a lot of play there and once you find it you dont need to adjust. its small enough to be stored virtually anywhere, i keep mine under my desk as i use it while at the computer a lot. its a good device to be able to get in a smaller workout while doing menial tasks.it has an adjustable amount of resistance or weight you can use, i usually keep mine on the highest which is 5. i will say that i normally do sets of 25+ repetitions to get a decent feeling from it. i by no means am i power lifter or anything of that sort so thats a bit disappointing. it does have nice padding that makes it not bothersome to use. it is a bit limited by the fact that the resistance is not that much and it only allows for one movement to be done which limits its functionality.Overall its a pretty good item, its a good supplemental forearm workout. you will want to do other "lifts" along with it, but as an item one can using sitting and watching TV, or reading emails etc its worth its money. i only wish they had a version with more resistance so i would not have to do as many reps to feel it.

Works great
Works perfect on my 30min drive to work, just do a lot of reps. This is the 2nd one for me, had this year's ago, but lost in a move. Don't listen to people saying it's not enough tension, just do more reps and sets, you will feel it. Helps those 3's also.

Sub-par and Underwhelming...
Received the product in a package that was opened previously (perhaps used by someone else) and was stored up in someone's attic for the past five years. Expectations were deemed low at this point...Product usage in concept is general at best and basic to the point. Yay. But once you overcome the resistance of the current setting, to adjust to the next level up, that little knob just spins in place and does NOT increase the resistance to allow you get gains.I had so much hope (no I didn't) in this product, but was disappointed in the product presentation [packaging] followed by second-hand usage that this product will just be donated to a stroke patient rehabilitation center for those able-bodied individuals that can get "some" utility out of it.RECOMMENDATION: Don't waste you $$$ on this product; just buy some dumbbells and do wrist curls.

It Works untill it dont.
It does a great job with muscle building noticed big difference in the couple weeks had it. BUT IT BROKE!!! It would be a 5 star if this didn't happen. The nut that adjust the tension snapped in half. And the bottom pad came out. I was going to yank the pad out any how. Because it not made for people who already have forearms of a man.
