I went through Sony customer service. They were very helpful but they wanted me to send the phone to their customer service for a 2 wk period. I sought additional help through my internet carrier and was quickly able to connect to the Wi-Fi. Since then the phone has worked fine and more than met my hopes and expectations for a cell phone without the high price of an Iphone.
