Hummingbirds beaks and Nectar in the Feeder
The assembly, first and foremost, requires a very tiny screw which has to be placed with this and the holder, so it is not a quick one, two, three. The biggest issue is that the little hummingbirds can't get all the nectar because of the way it is designed. Thus, they get some, but as the nectar drops, because they love it, their tiny little beaks can't reach the nectar eventually. Then, you have to fill it to the top, and the repeat cycle starts. Thus, some waste of nectar. I enjoyed it, it was strong to support the bigger nectar birds, but a storm took it out. Big win, but be aware of the bottom challenge and hummingbirds, especially the fat ones who love nectar. They eye you, with their tiny eyeballs demanding nectar.

Day 1 and Several Visitors!
I just received it the other night and so far I'm loving it!There are two versions of this product, one with an ant moat that is a little bigger (Here: Aspects 407 Jewel Box Window Hummingbird Feeder, 8-Ounce ) and one without that is smaller (this one).I decided to order this version because I'm three stories up in an apartment and didn't think it necessary to have the ant moat. I was a little skeptical when I received it and realized that it wasn't all one piece. The suction cup screws into a back plate/support that you put on the window. The container with the feeding ports then rests on the back plate using two small prongs; the container doesn't snap into place or anything. I'm worried that an empty container might be blown off the support by a strong wind, but decided to give it a shot first. Once I secured the back plate to the the window and filled the container, it seemed to sit nicely and the plate supports it pretty well. The added weight from the nectar definitely helps hold it in place. The suction cup is holding strong even with a breeze. Time will tell if it continues to hold well, so I'll update this review if something happens.Otherwise, after filling it last night I have already had several little visitors today! The resting perch is nice since they stay longer, and they have been fine with me sitting by my window as long as I don't make sudden movements. Even as I'm writing this review, one came up for a snack! For the moment, this seems to be a great product! I will update in a couple of weeks if anything changes.UPDATE: This update is a bit late, but I thought it would be good to make some notes:-This feeder is blast. I got tons of visitors to my window.-My previous concern about a strong wind knocking it down was answered in a very positive way: it was still hanging on strong through 2 days over heavy rain and wind! And it didnt fall all during the winter months when we had a lot of heavy rain and strong winds every couple days.-My roommate loved it so much that when I moved out I left it for her to enjoy. I plan to get another one in the near future :) Last time I contacted her she stated that her new roommate was loving having all the visitors to her window.----NOTE: Don't bother buying pre-made Nectar. It's a waste of money and the red dye is not good for the birds. You can make your own by simply dissolving 1/4 cup sugar in 1 cup water (you only need half that much for this feeder, so 1/8 cup sugar to 1/2 cup water). I just used filtered water in my tea kettle and used a mug to stir in the sugar. No need to clean up a pot!

Perfect for apartments
I. Love. This. Feeder.I was super super worried about it coming down, but I will say its survived windstorms and rain. I've had it up for over 3 months at the time of this review. I'm on the 9th floor, in the middle of the city, and these hummers are finding me. It took about a month for them to get consistent, buy after a big snow they really sought me out. Now I've got a few who come daily. I change the liquid every few days and use the Kaytee concentrate. 2 tbps concentrate to 3 tbps water fits PERFECTLY in the tray.Tips and tricks:- CLEAN THE WINDOW SPOT! Alcohol swabs and let it dry. Makes a huge difference.- Put it up at the hottest hart of the day and when you change the liquid give the suction a push to keep the cup "burped". As temps rise, try to do it during the hot part if the day- if hummers don't come in about a week, try moving it. I had mine up for a month on the railing of my deck and they didnt come. Moved it to my window and they loved it.- put it under cover, rainwater will get in through the top- be patient, they will figure it out- rinse with hot tap water to clean it, works just fine. Do not use soap! It's bad for the birds. This thing comes clean just fine without it. Just a good rinse and rub it with your fingers if you're worried. And/or change it more often.- try the concentrate. It lasts forever on such a small amount!

Simple and Works
Every year we see a few hummingbirds buzzing around in the spring, so this year we decided to see if a feeder would entice them to visit more often. Picked a window feeder because all of our trees have high branches, so no easy place to hang it. I know some reviewers said the hanging ones work better, but we get multiple visits a day. The suction cup worked great and it is easy to lift out the part to be refilled. No issue with bees etc. so far (I know some reviews say the red is less likely to attract them, so maybe that is working). We are thinking of getting a second one as the birds chase each other away.

Excelente comedero

You will need more than one feeder if you want a flock of humming birds
I gave 5 stars to what was asked of me in the survey. However for bird enthusiasts especially humming birds you must understand that these birds are VERY territorial of their feeding areas and will defend it. If you’d like to see a verity of humming birds you’ll need to purchase more than one. As as depicted in the advertisement they will NOT flock to the feeder, it will be only one at a time or one family member at a time to feed. Just my 2 cents.

GREAT FEEDER.
We live in a six floor apartment facing south with a small balcony. The hummingbird feeder is on the (patio) window and we love watching our little birds. One by one with sometimes a fight who goes first. Worth the money. The shipping cost somewhat of a spoiler though. In the fall we need to fill it up every other day because 'the bird traffic' has increased.Suction cup is very impressive !

Will not attrack Humming birds
I have had this feeder for awhile now and I have yet to get a humming bird to go near it. I have other feeders and they get lots of birds, but this thing is hopeless. Not waste your money
