Excellent little mower
Excellent mowerlightweight ,value for money.Easy to assemble. Bolt very tight on the blade but after using some.wd40 I was able to unscrew to put the spacers on. Grass box on the small side but doesn't affect the performance of the mower. Perfect for smaller gardens I would recommend

Decent replacement
I had a Hovervac that died after 12 years so thought it would be worth replacing like for like. This seems slightly smaller and build quality a little more flimsy. However does a good enough job and is really light and easy to use although it doesn't hover as effectively as my last model. The vac is effective though and packs the grass nearly into the basket for easy emptying. Pleased overall

Great litle mower
This little mower is perfect for smaller gardens,It was very easy to assemble, put on the handle and wire clips and altered the blade height by adding 2 spacers. The mower has a grass collection basket hidden under the top flap and we were pleasantly surprised by how well it picked up and collected the cut grass,it was also a lot quieter than the previous hover mower we had for many years,it manoeuvres quite well and has a small roller at the back for tilting and pulling around when not hovering. All said very pleased with purchase and the usability & quality of manufacture all seems very good.

Not impressed
Not up to the same standard as other Flymos. It is lightweight and budget friendly but at the expense of quality and efficiency. Isn't as smooth to glide across the lawn. As a frail person I found it It was difficult to push. Whereas my old much larger flymo was easy. Didn't seem to cut the grass very well either. Not that easy to put together. Needing strength i dont have. Had to get help to undo the nut to fit spacers. Would have sent it back but as its been used i am stuck with it. The positives....it is compact, it is light and it has a good length cable.

Dreadful
Arrived today and just tested it,It's not bad to put together but the instructions are poor "not hard to follow" but generally poor in their presentation,Operation is very good to get it running but once I put it onto the grass it's performance was exceptionally poor, the grass is not contained underneath and it spits it out up to 6ft in the air "I am 5ft,6inch" and I was higher than me. As it doesn't contain the grass it chuck it all over my decking and pond so now it's a massive clean up operation after using it.It's quite loud for a small machine as well, I was very disappointed in the cutting width,to me it's too small another inch would be much more useful. The basket doesn't really collect much grass for my liking and changing the blade is not a safe operation as you need to grasp the bit that spins around to get the spanner on the bolt to unlock it, but if your hand slipped you will slice your hand open.Overall I am dissatisfied and disappointed with this product and will probably be sending it back as it's not what I was expecting in performance or safety. The only good thing I can really say is that it's lightweight.Otherwise it's poor value for money.

Needed to be Garth to Loosen Heightening Nut
Compact Mower, had these years ago and migrated back from battery operated one i have had for the last 7 or 8 years. Waiting to give it a whirl, just thought I'd relay experience of setting it up, trying to gt the nut off to add additional spacers was a nightmare. Tried adjustable spanners and everything before it eventually moved, thought the plastic orange tools was going to split and i had visions of losing a finger on the blade whilst in the process. All good eventually, will update the review once the grass has dried out and i can get out and use it.
