It made a huge difference. My ET4 is now completely silent. Money well spent. Good quality product. Fitted on xyz. The only thing I can hear now is the feeder. Too bad it only came in a three pack. Will buy one more.

if you're buying these to put on your new 3d printer to dampen the motor whine, first please check what shaft type your motors have as there are two types, O and D;O shafts (what came on my Ender 3 S1) are smooth round shafts with pressed on pulleys which can't be removed or adjusted easily without a special tool (a motor gear puller) if you don't have a motor gear puller you won't be able to adjust the puller to suit the dampers.D shafts are as you can imagine a smooth shaft which has a flat facet which your pulleys with grub screws can sit on, D shafts allow you to fit things like stepper dampers without needing to print a new motor housing.

The difference that these make is absolutely astounding.Before installing these, my 3d printer would cause vibrations that could be heard throughout the whole house, meaning that it was impossible to leave it running while working or sleeping.Upon receiving them, I was slightly dubious, since the rubber feels quite firm and not soft like I expected. I thought that the rubber was still to firm to absorb much vibration, but I was wrong.After installing them, the difference is unbelievable. You wouldn't even know that the 3d printer is running in the next room.It still makes noise that can obviously be heard when you're in the same room, but it is far reduced, and I'm able to do work on my laptop that requires concentration with it running right next to me without it being a real disturbance, although I still don't think I'd be able to sleep in the same room as it.They were very easy to install and have not made any noticeable change in print quality.I plan to buy another set and install them on my Z axis motors, along with putting a foam block under the base of the printer. After those improvements I think it should be almost inaudible.

Awesome item does cut back on the sound, however, advertising that the metal plates are smooth with no scratches but the ones I received were super scratchedIf they were not scratched as advertised I would have set this as full stars

I installed these on to my Ender 3. The X axis damper went on fine. I installed the Y axis one, then thought i'd make sure the bed would move back and touch the end stop switch. It didn't. Looking at it closer I noticed that the frame underneath the bed was bumping into the stepper motor casing (because after the damper is installed the motor sticks out a few more mm's). I looked it up and apparently older and newer models are slightly different. I ended up using a couple of those nuts that slide inside the frame, removed the screws from the y end stop and put these new adjustable ones on. I slide the y end stop switch forward until the bed touched the switch and screwed it into place.When you print, the difference in sound is unbelievable! It just sounds so smooth, no more of those annoying loud vibrations that work their way through the house. I highly recommend these as an addition to your 3d printer!

With fans off, the printer is ~5db quieter. With noctua fans installed and slightly reduced print speeds it's virtually silent

Advertised as being new and scratch free. What I got is covered in scratches and has obviously been used before.

Good construction and required no adjustments to enable them to be fitted. Very nice product.

Dampers arrived with all parts needed to install them. Installation was easy. Dampers work perfectly, my stepper motors are much more quiet now, almost no sound at all. Shipping was also quick. No complaints.

Con alcuni motori più recenti della Ender 3 Pro, ci sono dei piccoli problemi di compatibilità. Aumentando lo spessore, bisogna anche fare delle piccole modifiche al resto. Qualche martellata/sostituzione e alla fine si ha una stampante 3D più silenziosa e potenzialmente longeva.

Montés sur une ender 3. Le cain au niveau sonore est de 6 db, testé avec le téléphone.Je suis obligé d'ouvrir la porte du bureau pour vérifier que ça imprime toujours.Belle qualité de fabrication. N'hésitez pas.

Qualsiasi rumore scomparso. In piú la qualitá della stampa migliora. Layers piú regolari e puliti.Consigliatissimi.
