Great Tongue Cleaner Brush But Don't Use Too Often
I always hear people say that brushing the tongue is the most important part of brushing. I normally just use the rough side on the other side of my toothbrush but I didn't know how little I did until I tried to Orabrush Tongue Cleaner. What I really liked about this product was its ability to clean gunk out of the tongue but the multiple colors that it comes with so that you don't get them confused for someone else's that lives in the same household.Design:Imagine a normal toothbrush handle but instead of the normal toothbrush brush on the top portion it is actually a square like flat head with bristles. This allows the brush to glide through your tongue at a bigger square area. I like this design as it allows for me to get to most of my tongue within a reasonable amount of time. I find it pretty easy to hold without having to worry about the handle slipping when I am brushing my tongue.Usability:I used to use this 3 times a day but now I am down to 1-2 times a day. I will explain a little later on why I started to use 1-2 times a day instead of 3. The brush itself is pretty explanatory. I use it after I brush my teeth with still a little toothpaste left on my tongue. I was actually super surprised of how much "yellow stuff" or gunk that game out with brushing with this brush. I was so impressed that I started using this brush every time that I brushed my teeth. Keep in mind that the brushes aren't as soft. If I could categorize them, I would say it's medium hard. By using it 3 times a day, I started to see a little red coming out with the gunk. I first put it off as "Oh, this is just part of the food I ate" but further examining my tongue it appears to be a little blood. That's when I stopped using this product 3 times a day. It is a little harsh and using it 1-2 times a day is more than enough. Remember to not put too much pressure when using it or you might hurt your tongue.Lifespan:Depending on how often you brush, these brushes can last you between 3-6 months. It lasts me around 6 months before I notice the brushes deteriorating and not performing as great as they used to. I feel like 6 months is also a good time to change because even if it doesn't look like it is time to change, the bacteria has built up from things that water can't rinse away.Overall, I give this product a 4-4.5 stars for doing a great job, but a little point deduction in being a little rough. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to clean their tongue.

Goodbye Dragon Breath!
Orabrushes are the most user-friendly tongue cleaner I've tried yet. I've suffered from bad breath for most of my life - even when I brush and floss twice a day, the *stank* would just come back. Mouthwash was a temporary band-aid. Sterling praise in the dentist's chair for my good hygiene couldn't erase the fact that my mouth, well, smelled bad. I went through middle school and part of high school embarrassed and dating-averse because of how much I was convinced I smelled bad - a friend once gave me a button pin that said "dragon breath" on it. She meant well; it left me in tears.I got my first job my junior year, and Amazon existed by then. Google suggested that I should try scraping my tongue - a hygiene habit practiced in many countries that I, a standard-issue American, had *never*, EVER, heard of. I picked up a tongue scraper on a whim - one of the standard U-shaped ones. It was very effective at cleaning my tongue (admittedly moreso than the Orabrush), but my sensitive gag reflex was not a fan. I struggled through, and it helped. During my first pregnancy, however, my gag reflex intensified to the point that even brushing my teeth was almost unbearable, let alone sticking a giant metal contraption deep into my mouth and scraping my tongue repeatedly.Enter - THE ORABRUSH! I bought it on a desperate whim, and have sung its praises ever since. The Orabrush is the less-bulky, more straightforward alternative to a traditional metal tongue scraper. Is it as thorough? No - the bristles loosen the crud, but the scraping portion is not nearly as pointed or large enough for you to get your *entire tongue* in one go. It takes a little bit of work to get your tongue really, truly clean. But, again - a toddler could do it. If you can brush your teeth, you can use an Orabrush. It's now part of my daily oral hygiene routine - I no longer use breath strips or mouthwash. Since I started scraping twice per day, I've been able to bid my title of "Dragon Breath" farewell. I haven't heard a comment about my breath in years - ironically, now I'm the one suggesting it to people! My dentist is thrilled, I'm thrilled - everyone wins.If you've struggled with the icky fuzzy tongue feeling, bad breath, or just don't like the way your tongue looks *weird* after eating and drinking - pick up an Orabrush. They're cheap, so you don't feel the sting when it comes time to replace it (I replace mine every 4 months or so, OR when I can no longer rinse the gunk off.) 10/10 - this is quality of life money, people.
