Merco Threadmaster® M78 is a full density PTFE tape impregnated with nickel for use with Stainless Steel connections and fittings. Produced in the USA. Offers an operating temperature range of -450 to +550 degrees Fahrenheit. Complies with Mil-T-27730A and more importantly the much more stringent A-A-58092. Used for anti-galling in stainless steel pipes. Increases part life by reducing friction. Do not confuse this premium product with 'plain gray PTFE'.
