Nice Multi-Purpose Iron
This is a great iron. I like that you can use it with or without steam and it has so many settings to choose from that you can't help but find the perfect one for your job. I used the cotton setting and a dry iron to press hems, seams, and headers on 20 curtain panels and 4 valances. It held up nicely! It is also very light weight. For doing this big job it was nice not to have to lift an iron as heavy as my old one. I'm kinda glad that the old one bit the dust before I started this work so that I had a better one to use. The controls are easy to use once you read the instructions. The settings for the fabrics are right on the heel of the iron and the dial works great to select the option you want. There is a separate dial for the steam and a button for a quick burst. I haven't used those features yet so I can't speak as to how well they work, but I will update when I've had a chance to test it out. As for longevity, I am sure it will last a long time with normal use if it held up so well under the job I just put it through. Terrific iron and I highly recommend it!

Great Iron for the Price
I bought this back in 2016 when it still had a retractable cord feature. I loved that feature because it helped keep the cord neat and out of the way when I put my iron up when finished with a job. After using it for a couple of years the water sprayer and steamer stopped working. I didn't know a lot about ironing back then and I have very hard water so it's possible there were mineral deposits that clogged it up. I used it anyway, using a spray bottle to wet my fabric when I needed steam pressing. I loved this iron and used it so much. It heated quickly and the sole plate was nice and smooth. I accidentally ironed the wrong side of interfacing once and got the adhesive stuck to it but was able to easily clean it off.

Good iron
This is my second one. My first I bought from Target when I was in college and it lasted 15 years. Some years of light use, and some of very heavy use as I sew and quilt. When it died, I considered more expensive quilting irons, but I just couldn't face the cost and uncertainty of whether it would last. I'm happy I went with another one of these, such a light and easy and effective iron and you can't beat the price.

Decent for the price..may require adjustment to your 'ironing' style
Works alright. It gets hot soon which is good. The size is a lil smaller but it works for me as it increases the portability. The steam action works fine as long as you follow the instructions. I always set it to high steam mode (on the dial) so that it gives even steam. As others have noted, If the water level is full and if you move the iron with even the slightest of jerks water may spill out. Again, as others have noted the water it spilled stained by shirt (with a very light blue color) guess it was the sub-standard quality of paint used on the plastic parts or could be the paint melting off the plastic components on the first heating experience. However, on subsequent uses, didn't see that happening. Even if the water spilled it didn't leave any stains. One other thing is, water 'vaporized' very quickly and you need to refill if you are planning on ironing more than 2 pairs at a time. May be its coz i use the steam at a high settingOverall its a decent buy for the price. It gets hot quick, does a good job and has multiple dial setting depending on the fabric. Comes with basic instructions. Made of good quality cable and attachments. You just need to be careful with the way you 'maneuver' the iron and also watch out for the first few spills which may add 'unnecessary' colors to your dress.

Don't pass this one up!
This is a great little iron. It's lightweight, has a fairly large water reservoir, and heats up quickly. Not sure about the other reviews, but I've had no issues with dribbling, leaking, etc. It is possible to overfill, and that may be the reason for the leaking issues by other users. What's nice, is that you can see the water level, as the reservoir is translucent. The soleplate is coated, and it glides nicely on a variety of fabrics. It's light weight and makes it a pleasure to use, and it generates a good amount of heat. It doesn't come with a cup to fill it with, but I have extras from other appliances. Considering the price, it's not a big deal.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Awful iron!
You'll risk ruining your clothes and anything this iron comes in contact with! I hurriedly ordered this iron without reading the reviews and that will never happen again. I don't iron a lot, so I thought just any iron would do. I had a good German iron and it stopped fully heating after about 25 years of use. I figured, "What the heck. I'll just get a $10 iron, because I don't really use one." Big mistake! After I purchased, I read the reviews about the water leaking all over. Even though I could keep water forever in my German iron, I thought I could simply empty this one on the few times I used it and I would be spared this problem. Wrong, again. It did a little leaking and spitting the first time; I fully drained it, put in on the shelf to fully dry. After about a month, I needed to press some cloths, so I filled it about half full, let it heat up and then the trouble really began. First of all, it wouldn't even heat up. It was so lukewarm that my husband was able to put his palm fully against the sole plate. (He's a lot braver than I am.) Well, I had to press these cloths for the next day, so I tried. Water was coming out of the sole plate at a fast clip, onto everything, fully saturating the cloths and my ironing board cover. See photo of my now soaking ironing board. As if that wasn't bad enough, the thing wouldn't even press the cloths because it was so lukewarm. See photo #2 (although the wrinkles were far worse than the photo shows). What a mess! I unplugged the frigging thing and am putting it out for donation tomorrow. I'm getting the German brand again. You truly do get what you pay for.

great little iron...
Hi,I bought this to go with the tabletop ironing board, not realizing how effective a light iron would be. It's hot and the steam works really well, not spitting and spotting as some larger irons have done. It's nice, too, that it is small and light - perfect for morning pressing and touch ups. These two products have transformed my mornings - so convenient and they work so well. Thank you!
