**Q: Why is the 55mm the standard lens and not the 75/80mm like all other medium format cameras ?**
A: Harry:  the sensor in the 645D is not 4.5x6 cm but rather approximately the size of two full frame sensor stacked on top of each other.  Actually the 55mm lens is not "normal" in the sense that 50mm lens is normal on 35mm film camera, but rather about a 35-40mm equivalent in 35mm terms.

**Q: Does it take video?**
A: It does not take video, but it does create beautiful images.  By the way, i purchased four Pentax lenses, on ebay  from Japan, (35, 45-85, 80-160 and 150 macro) in superb condition for around $1700 total.  They have performed admirably.

**Q: I want to know if in this offer (Pentax 645D 40MP Medium Format Digital SLR Camera with 3-Inch LCD Screen (Black) ) is it only a body ?**
A: I'm pretty sure it is for body only......never saw one listed any other way.

**Q: Will my old pentax 645 lenses work on other newer models of pentax cameras with or without an adapter, not specifically the pentax 645 type D camersa?**
A: Yes, older smc Pentax 645 lenses can be used on the Pentax 645D and Pentax 645Z without the need for an adapter.

Exceptional image quality and camera overall handling. Too big and heavy for traveling. Must use on tripod. Must learn how to shoot at reduced pace. would be awesome to have this fire power in a Sony A7R size camera.
