this stuff is great, and how to use
well i had some doors that were leaking a lot, and needed something. I did not want to spend $350 for the installation router tool. So i experimented with an oscillating multitool, and it worked great. I fits insterted a 1 inch wide blade into the multitool, positioned it into the door jamb and held it at a 45 degree angle so it would go into the jamb, and not the stop. Then cut a groove all around the door jamb. Then i inserted a "grout remover" blade into the multitool, and recut the groove to be just a little wider. That turned out to be the exact size the kerf needed to insert easily (with a screen roller tool i found at the hardware store), but would not pull out easily.

Fits Marvin Infinity Sliding Doors
Our puppy chewed off the strips on our new 4-panel slider and these were a perfect replacement.

Good product
Bought this to replace the weatherstripping on my casement windows. Fit was good but noticed the old weatherstripping was foam filled and this is not. I’m assuming foam filled would be a better insulator but giving this price a try anyway.

Fits Old Reynolds Windows
This is my second purchase. This weatherstripping fits the 20+ year old vinyl double hung Reynolds windows on my house. The stripping between the meeting rails has been failing: the bead coming off of the strip that fits into the kerf. That was causing problems with insulation but especially annoying sound when the wind blew with the windows open and the stripping flapped. At any rate this is nearly a perfect match. Reynolds doesn't seem to have made it into the 21st century, so buying from the manufacturer didn't seem possible. Replacing the old weatherstripping was easy, just be sure to get the old stripping completely out. Then just cut to size and press into position. The windows seal like brand new now and no flapping sound in the wind.

Good as original
Used to replace old Kolbe and Kolbe window weather seal on casement windows. Near perfect match to the original seal.

Fits the windows of my over-20-year-old house
I did a lot of research to find this weatherstrip to replace the old stuff in my windows. This one is not super easy to install, which is good. It fits into the channel snugly. The old weatherstrip had shrunk and stiffened and was coming out. The new stuff gives a fresh bounce to my windows as I close them. I have to push down a little extra to get the locks closed, and that’s just how it should be.

Perfect
This was used on 100 yr old windows that had no weather stripping, and cut kerf and worked fantastically
