The HQUA PAS20 system is ideal for ponds up to 3 acres in surface area and 65 feet deep. For best results, choose a system slightly larger than your pond size to ensure full aeration coverage and maximum oxygen circulation.

Q: What’s included in the package?

Each kit includes a ¾ HP air pump, two 100 ft self-sinking air hoses (5/16" ID, 5/8" OD), and two 10" EPDM diffuser discs mounted on 12" coated steel bases. Everything you need for setup is included — no extra fittings required.

Q: What’s the best working environment to help the air pump run safely and last longer?

For reliable use, add ventilation. In open areas, use a 6" 10 W fan when over 80 °F / 26 °C. In cabinets, add two 6"–10" vents with filters and a 6" 34 W fan when over 50 °F / 10 °C. For best results, use the HQUA ASC01 housing.

Q: How loud is the system when running?

The air pump operates quietly at around 50-60 dB, similar to normal conversation. Rubber feet and internal shock absorbers reduce vibration noise. For ultra-quiet performance, install it inside a ventilated cabinet or shed.

Q: What are the power requirements?

It runs on 110–120 V AC / 60 Hz, drawing about 550 W (6 A). A grounded outdoor outlet is recommended. Use a heavy-duty extension cord rated for outdoor use and sufficient current if the power source is far from the pond.
