This trainer works very well. The scent isn't noticeable by me, however, my dog can lock onto it from 40 yards away. The only thing is real antlers are often bypassed at much closer distances. Overall, great for training and soft on the mouth. The liquid scent seems to run off the rubber when I apply it so I always put a little on the rope to hold it better. Hopefully its not the rubber my pup is after!

My dog, a 5 month chocolate, chewed the tines off immediately. It is not the same material as the white horn. It’s flimsy and I wish I had gotten something different. It’ll last a few more days probably. Don’t buy it.,

puppies started with the white antler and now we are using the brown to "hide" it more and make them rely on scent. The rack wax works better on the antler. The puppies like having it soft to start with because they are still teething. We started with the scent on balls moved to the plastic antler and are not getting to real sheds. They were timid at first on how to pick it up and carry it but now they know and love it.

Very disappointed, been brushed off by owner about dissatisfaction. Tried for over a year, and dog just doesn't Wana do it. Considering everything I bought, I'm very ubset I'm not being taken seriously!

A great tool for teaching your pup how to shed hunt without the fear of them getting scared of sheds by getting poked with a real one.

Great for stage two, Working that nose. The brown antler blends in more. Making the dog unable to rely on visual as much but more scent. It's not designed to be a toy, rather a tool. Holds up wonderfully. Mine is over a year old, used a lot! Everything still very much intact.Personal tip is put liquid scent on the rope it wicks up. Or get the DogBond wax scent, rubs right in and is water/slobber resistant
