**Q: How you activate this siren, is there a button on this siren or need a signal, what kind of signal**
A: You would need to connect it to a compatible alarm control panel.   The alarm panel provides the control signal and power to the siren.

**Q: can this be wired in with stranded wire to our Honeywell /ademco vista 20p? also usable outdoor but under cover?**
A: Yes these are standard sirens for any Ademco (and many other) systems. Yes they can be used outside covered from the weather such as under an eve.  I have mounted then inside eve vents and attic vents too - Ron

**Q: Can multiple Wave-2 sirens be connected to a Vista 20p?  If so, how are they wired (serial or parallel)?**
A: I don't think they can be. I tried both ways and neither worked. I only have 1 of the 2 horns wired on my system. I couldn't get both to work I think they pull too many amps for the little system. If you do find a way please let me know

**Q: Seriously wish this had a flashing light is there one just s few dollars more that’s WiFi Soren with left?**
A: Just know it isn't that quick. Even if you had wifi, you would still need software to connect to wifi and a relay control mechanism to provide power to siren. I uses a PIR (passive infrared sensor) plus relay to activate mine.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's a siren.

Compared to the older version, this one has more surface mount components and is a bit more sensitive to noise on the 24VDC siren power feed. This means if the line is unshielded and next to power it can create noise at the siren. A simple noise filter solves that issue. Just something to be aware of. It's every bit as loud. The mounting holes are exactly the same as the older unit and can use the same hardware. Device does some with drywall expanding anchors and screws. Case is identical on the outside.

I used this as a part of an alarm for a lift station control I built....it is in operation now....the alarm went off and it was loud enough to get the attention of the property occupants....inside the building...about a hundred feet away. It isnt water tight, but I built a metal weather proof enclosure for it....and its been fine.
