Fit my vintage Holelite XL12 and worked fine
I bought this chain for my Vintage Homelite XL12 due to the price since I use my saw only occasionally. It fit my vintage, 1960s, Homelite XL12 that I got from by brother-in-law's father's estate when he died. It needed just about everything on the exterior so I rebuilt it 20 years ago. I cleaned out the filth and dirt. I put on a new clutch and chain. I adjusted the magneto and cleaned (but did not rebuild) the carb. I put on a new fuel line and filter and a new plug.I was told by a Homelite mechanic that this is the best chainsaw ever built (up to that time) and, after checking it out and showing me how to tune it, he said it would outlast all of us.Well, my brother-in-law died 5 years ago. The mechanic died a few years later and his wife died shortly thereafter. My sister-in-law died last year. Things are not looking good for me but the saw is still running strong and starts on the third pull every time. Not something I can say about myself.I am 85 and my only purpose in life is to keep this little "HOMEY" running well for as long as I can. I think of it as my longevity plan.I put this chain on the saw and it went on easily and was a perfect fit except for a little play in the bar groove. I think that's due to wear in the groove because the one I took off measured .050" with a micrometer just like the new one and was a little loose, too.I fueled it up and I took it out to do some trimming on some rangy roots and limbs on a Lilac bush at the church. It is scary sharp and cuts like crazy. I am very impressed with the chain and the way it worked. It was a little noisy but I think that's due to the play in the bar groove. But it ran smoothly and true and cut like a banshee. It ran cool and did not overheat. It did not feel like it wanted to kick back. When I was done, it seemed as sharp as it was when I started cutting. After the second use a week later, the chain was a little slack so I had to tighten the bar adjustment screw 1/3 of a turn when I was done. But it still cuts fine.I do recommend this chain - 100%.It's a good value for what you get.

Works Well
Have used Stihl chains for decades. This product seems to work just as well, keeps a sharp cutter edge, much cheaper than OEM. Great product.

They work
I usr a chain saw fairly frequently. No chain lasts very long anymore, they become dull after a few uses and just won't cut anymore. These chains are about average for longevity. They were no easier nor more difficult that any other brand to install. The price was decent.

Sharp chains that last a long time
For 16-Inch, SG-S56, 3/8" LP Pitch - .050" Gauge - 56 Drive Links. I'm very pleased with these chains and I'm still using the first one I installed several months ago. Now I'm no lumberjack, but there are small trees, old bushes, and old crepe myrtles on my property that I have to address every year, and I usually destroy my chains before I'm even halfway through my yard. But THIS set has been performing amazingly well, and I'm still using the first chain (of the set of three). Still sharp, doesn't need adjustment too much (not stretching), and it just runs very smoothly in the bar. I do make sure to keep my bar oiler full, but that's the only thing I do. Also, I store my saw Upside-Down so the bar oil doesn't puddle under the saw, while it sits for months, during most of the year. I strongly recommend this chain set: SUNGATOR 16-Inch, SG-S56, 3/8" LP Pitch - .050" Gauge - 56 Drive Links.

A real value for your money.
Really sharp, and at this price I don't even sharpen when they get dull. I just put on another. Just ordered my third pack of 3.

Chains for electric pole saw
These chains worked great, were very sharp, fit perfectly and were a great price for 3 of them, no need to wait to sharpen when you have 3 for backup.

Not Great, But Worth The Price
If you are looking for a 'disposable' chain for a couple of small jobs, these seem ok for the price. I am only on the first chain of 3, so I don't know if they are all consistent. This chain made it through 2x 24-year-old crepe myrtle trees that I'm removing them completely from my front yard. The total cuts were about 10x 5-7 inch trunk sections that were hard as stone. This first chain stretched a lot more than the previous Oregon chains I've used and there was certainly a huge difference in cut speed from the first section to the last, but I expected that.I hate sharpening chains, and these are cheap enough to be 'disposable' once a season if you are just using them around your own property. If you are a 'pro' and using your chainsaw almost daily for work, don't bother - just spend the extra on a few Oregon chains (or similar). Constantly adjusting for this much stretch would get really irritating and they seem to dull a little faster than a name-brand chain. Get something that will last a little longer. For my use based on this first chain, I would order these again, but I also keep a couple of Oregons in the shed just in case I need to do a lot more work (major storm or something rolls through).
