Good value replacement remote.
These remotes were inexpensive, easy to sync and work well. Only complaint is the Alarm button sits a bit too high above the case and gets inadvertently activated in my pocket - annoying. Battery life has been good, just now (5 years later) need to replace one.

Range isn’t far enough
Range has to be really close to vehicle in order to use. This really sucks because when you’re in a packed parking lot and need to use the alarm sound, it won’t work unless you’re close .

Works great on my 2007 Ford F150 King Ranch
This took about a month to receive, but I knew that before I ordered, so - nothing to complain about there, especially for $3.61 shipped!Mine came with NO instructions, but I read around some reviews and youtube to figure out how to do it. Also, I emailed the company (in China) and asked for instructions to program it. Here is basically ehat they said: SORRY FOR YOUR TROUBLE WITH UNIT. PLEASE JUSY PROGRAM AND ENJOY. Anyways, that's why I did'nt give this item 5 stars. The best review I read said to be patient - this will not always program on the first few tries. Well, that answered my question. I sat in my truck and after about 8-10 tries, it finally worked. YES! Now to see if it will hold the program more than a few days/weeks as some reviews have stated. I will update this, if I have any issues. This item is exactly like my factory OEM unit and it is solidly built. This is a great bargain for a little more than $3 and you can't go wrong - even if you only use the shell and buttons to replace your old unit.

Works great
I was very excited to get my replacement remote for my Ford Escape. We purchased the vehicle used, and it came with only one key and no remotes. I did not realize you could replace and reprogram them until I found this product on Amazon while looking for something else. The instructions to reprogram this were pretty good with one minor exception. The first step states the "driver door is open". To get the re-program to work for my Ford Escape, I needed to close the driver door. I originally thought my cars internal module was broken and I was not going to be able to use the new remote I purchased, but then I found a U-Tube video where they showed the process, and his door was closed. I closed the door, and the rest of the instructions worked. I am so thrilled, I am ordering another one, and telling my neighbor about it as I think his new "used" Explorer was missing a remote as well.

Perfect for early 2000's ford vehicles
At the time of purchase I wasn't sure if this would actually work for my truck so I was nervous about buying it. After a day and a half it came in the mail and I put it on my key chain. I had purchased my truck used from a used vehicle dealer and I had only received two keys and an old, used remote with no symbols on the buttons. I went in my truck and followed the instructions in my instruction manual to program the remote and it works. Over half a year later this is still working great and I love it. The range is not the best but I have found that if you hold the remote right under your jawbone, you get an extra couple of feet of range. The buttons are fairly responsive and easy to click without having to press hard. It is almost identical to the manufacturer remote fob and is a very smart purchase.

Don't buy a $60+ keyfib from a dealer; Get this!
Bought this thinking it was just the plastic cover. Turned out to be a full blown replacement. One of these costs $60+ at a store around here.If you need a replacement don't buy one of those. Buy this! For instructions just do a quick google search on how to get this hooked up to your vehicle.Mine was for my 1999 Ford Explorer. To get it programmed:* Get in your car and shut the doors* Put the key in the ignition* Turn the key to accessories eight (8) times. (On, Off, On, Off, etc.)* Making sure to leave it to the on (accessory) position on the eighth (8th) turn* Your doors should all lock* Hit the unlock button on your new keyfib* Turn switch from the on (accessory) position to the off position* Your doors should lock/unlockand you're done!

Works Great
My local Ford dealership charges upwards of $150 for keyless remotes. This product costed 10x less and works perfectly. The programming instructions were very clear and the process only took a matter of minutes to complete. Highly recommend.
