Q: Will this work to replace a fasco 108430 bathroom fan motor cover? does come with two thin metal hinges?

This is only a cover and your screw it in on the sides. There are no hinges. I had an old fan, but the cover broke. I bought this to cover up the fan/hole in the ceiling since it was the largest one I could find. The sticker in the middle looks cheap, so I colored it in black. In summary, if you have a big hole/fan, and want to cover it up with a cover, this works.

Q: My ceiling was damaged removing the old exhaust fan.Can I use this to cover a 9.25 x 9.25 ?

If the hole in your ceiling, including the damaged area, is no larger than 9.25x9.25, it should fit. You should try to allow at least 1-1.5 inches around all four sides to make sure that it can be scewed to the ceiling securely.
