Big frustration saver
I expected this to be made of plastic, but it it is metal, and very well made. I had two watches that I had replaced the batteries in, but I could not get the backs back on. I tried everything! Had about given up. I was absolutely amazed at how easy it was to press them back on with this press. (I help my daughter with her reselling business and that sometimes involves old watches.) This press will not only save me time, but the big savings is frustration. Trying to put those backs on has caused me a lot of frustration. No longer.

Press excellent, tool provided to open watch case not good
Press really great, tools to open watchback are not great. If your buying this item for the press only, I could not recommend this product more. If you need tools to open watch also, buy them separately.

Fast & Easy
I was surprised when my son recently stopped by and went through a few things we had set aside for him to see if he wanted to keep or get rid of. All part of an "empty nest" clean out LOL. It's an adjustment but all part of the cycle and we're fortunate - anyway... This cheap Timex battery had died and I thought for sure it would be in the 'get rid of' pile but he decided to keep it if I would replace the battery and change the band.Popping off the case back and changing the battery was simple and easy - that is until it was time to press the back on again. Why does Timex make this so difficult? I tried so many suggestions that I read online and thought for sure I would break the crystal if I kept going, and honestly was at the point in frustration that I didn't really care. I was reluctant to buy a watch press that probably cost half the price of just getting a new cheap watch, but I guess I could use the press again some day, hopefully. After reading some negative reviews, I almost balked at this device but figured what the heck. Plenty of others had success. When it arrived, I sized up the front and back disks and had the watch on the press and DONE so fast, I thought for sure there was no way it was that easy. Not after everything I had tried earlier. Well, it WAS that fast and easy. Worked amazingly well. Now I wish I had more watches with a press-fit back on them! If you have any doubts, just go online and watch a few videos on how to size the correct disks (or dies, or whatever they're called) and do the procedure. This thing worked amazingly well for me and believe me, I had tried some crazy and creative ideas to get this back on again trying to avoid buying this thing. Now I'm glad I did.Good luck in your efforts. I wish you the same success.

Good safe tool for closing watches
This tool is perfect for closing watches after working on them. I have not had one broken watch crystal and have used it on dozens of watches.

Very Useful
Good product. It will not handle every watch as some were made to be fixed by God only but generally it will help with most.
