Depending on what you're shooting, you may want to get more than one to fill in shadows; and you'll definitely want to have extension cords. The cords included are not very long...they barely reach the ground if you have the unit extended all the way. **Q: what size is this umbrella?** A: 24 inches. I'm happy with the purchase. Good value. **Q: How do you set up this product? I have the stand together but I do not know how to assemble the bulb into it. can someone help?** A: It was a little confusing for me as well. Just place your hand behind the center of the outside plate (on the outside), and then with the other hand push the round spring loaded plate back to meet with your hand. Came in a long box, fairly light weight. When I opened the box, everything was packaged nice and very organized. Simple and perfect! Very easy to assemble. I was surprised at how nice the product was for the price.Make sure to follow the instructions!! They’re super easy to follow. Push the umbrella in the center until it clicks. I had to get someone to hold it while I pushed the center in and set in place. The bulb was very large which again surprised me due to the affordable cost. When everything was put together, I plugged it in and the light output is strong and beautiful! The only downfall is the power cord is short, so you’ll need an extension cord. But for the price, you can’t beat that!!The stand is super light weight. Be careful when handling because it is too heavy due to the umbrella and bulb. I’m going to need some small sandbags to weigh the legs down. They do the job, but with over-tightening could easily snap & break! It adjusts up to a max of approx 6' Feet. | UMBRELLA: Very Large opened up, approx 36" Diameter. The inner workings, braces that open it are made of metal, but thin and delicate. If repeatedly collapses & reopened, I could see it very easily breaking. This lamp is meant to be used in 1 location, not moved here, there, and everywhere... Or else, it's not going to last very long! | LIGHT - BULB: The bulb is included, approx 12" High x 5" Wide, and bright as sunshine! It would be a great light therapy lamp. Usually these show the product short comings far better than the mindless praise most give because they are just too excited to get something new delivered to them.Neither amateur or full time professional, I'm pleased with this soft box rig. The only reason it lost a star is because the stand is too flimsy to hold the soft box, so I upgraded to a stronger one (highly recommend the Ravelli ALS Full 10' Air Cushioned Light Stand With Included Adapter To Also Support 1/4" and 3/8" Photo Equipment and Heavy Duty Carry Bag). You can better use the original stand for flashes.Taken it on a few shoots over the past four months and it collapses easy and whoever broke their bulbs off in this need to take their frustrations out on something else, because mine screws in easy and requires no torquing what so ever. The hood is a bit tricky to lock open but manageable and collapses nicely.Good solid product for the price.
