Borrago #47 Paloma Blend Spirit 500ml, Alcohol Free Non Alcoholic Spirit

This is a great, very floral non-alcoholic liqueur. It is VERY expensive, so it's a special treat at most, but the very floral, herbal flavor is quite distinctive. Where a lot of distilled non-alcoholic liqueurs are either syrupy with sugar, or artificial, or just lacking flavor, this one misses all of those pitfalls. Quite aromatic; great to mix or have a bit neat or over the rocks.

This is not going to transform your tonic into a complete Gin & Tonic type deal. I would say only get this if you have an open mind and DEFINITELY pay attention to the serving suggestion on the side of the bottle. I was putting in a whole ounce and it was just way too aggressive of a flavor. Overall, it has a very nice aroma, not much of a mouth feel, but is definitely a "compliment" to your tonic if you're trying to do something other than a standard juice based mocktail.

I've actually bought two bottle now. It's very floral scented. I went for a bigger shot and mixed with diet tonic. Love the flavor. I don't know that everyone will feel the way I do. It's in a class of it's own so don't expect Gin. For me it's an excellent substitute for that end of the day "relaxing" drink.

I've been trying a lot of different non-alcoholic "spirits" lately, and this is by far my favorite. I make it with light tonic and mineral water, bit of crushed basil or mint. Even better than Seedlip, which has been my favorite before trying this. Very hard to describe the taste. First whiff on opening the bottle was concerning, verging on perfumy, but so delicious when made into a drink as described.

I wouldn't buy this again. Seedlip is better.
