I have used this product for years with my own dogs, and suggested it to my boarding clients. I've seen AWESOME results for male and female incontinence/leakage as well as submissve/excited urination. The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is that this product could be soooo tasty that most dogs think it's the yummiest treat. Most dogs don't have a problem with the current taste though.To those reading this, I will pass on the tip that older dogs can suffer from dementia which can easily manifest as accidents in the house (can be both urine and feces). Ginko works wonders for this and is very safe!

I was very skeptical about using an herbal remedy for urinary incontinence. My past experience has not been good using herbals for confirmed chronic diseases. However, I decided to try this for my 15 year old lab mix who has been dealing with urinary incontinence for half her life. She has been taking Proin 50 twice a day for almost 8 years. It was very effective and necessary - miss a pill or try a reduced amount and I was washing rugs and dog beds the next morning. However, the issues with using Proin were becoming problematic, especially the increasing cost and the difficulty getting it in Oregon, where it is labeled a controlled substance (I can't imagine using phenylpropanolamine for recreation, but whatever). The cost from my vet was highway robbery and ordering it online, paying special labeling fees to ship to OR, and the required yearly vet visit in order to get the prescription was becoming a huge headache and financial burden.I switched Meg 'cold turkey' as soon as the Canine Bladder Control arrived, since I wanted to keep the few remaining Proin pills on hand just in case this stuff didn't work. She much appreciated the better tasting pills - even though her tastes are not particular discriminatory she really did not like the taste of the Proin. Now, three weeks later, Meg is still dry all night. I am really glad I tried this - thanks to the many good reviews here on Amazon.After reading a lot of the reviews (no, I didn't read all of them so the following observation may be hogwash), I notice that the reviews, when indicating the gender of the dog, seem to be more negative for male dogs and positive for female dogs. That would be an interesting thing to investigate. Urinary incontinence is more common in female dogs. Spaying seems to be a common catalyst for the problem in female dogs. I would presume that the underling cause is different for males (not caused by neutering). Any vets out there want to comment?

My old girl started having dripping issues. I took her to the vet and they gave her a prescription that worked but it was a pain to get. I wanted to try natural pet as it is made in the USA, I won't feed my dogs anything from China, and it actually seems to work. I am very happy with this product! She won't take meds so I do have to crush it in her food.Update: Stopped working after a month.

In an effort to stay away from the prescription, chemical filled products, I tried this after the one I was giving my dog was discontinued. It seems to work pretty well. I have an extra large dog, and 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening is what I give. Every day leaks have stopped, but once in a while there is a leak issue. Much better than every day though! I would recommend giving this a try. I toss them in my dog's food, but she will just take them by themselves too.

My rescue was spayed before 2 months old by the humane society, which caused her to have severe bladder leakage, especially while sleeping. She was on a prescribed medication, but it was giving her mood swings. We tried this natural product based on some other reviews. Unfortunately, for my dog, it did not work at all, and honestly, for her situation, no other natural product did. She had to back on her prescribed medication

It looks like it has good ingredients, but it didn’t work for my year and a half old male labrador with urinary incontinence.

We are fostering a 12-year-old Boxer/Mastiff mix named Cosmic, from a local shelter. Mr. Cosmic stopped eating and was diagnosed in September, 2015 with advanced prostate cancer and the shelter vet wanted to euthanize him. I decided he was not going to die alone in a shelter, so my wife and I took him home to make his last days the best of his life. (He had spent the past 8 years in the shelter). I would have adopted him, but our existing 4 dogs do not get along with other dogs. Long story short, I took him home and made him steak and eggs every day. He started to get better, then took a turn for the worse. We took him to our vet who diagnosed him with a sever prostate INFECTION and he was septic. After 4 months of heavy antibiotics and draining the cists on his prostate, AND much love and attention, he gained 10 pounds, and is now a happy healthy dog. However, he started leaking everywhere as a result of the infection - it damaged the muscle used to control urination. The vet wanted to place him on prescription medication, but there were bad side effects. After reading the reviews, I purchased Canine Bladder Control. I could not believe the result! After 2 weeks, Cosmic stopped peeing in his sleep, and except for a few dribbles here and there (really who doesn't dribble occasionally?), his uncontrolled bladder releases have stopped. I highly recommend this product! We also give Cosmic K-9 Fido Nutrients and Glucosamine & Condroiton. He is a completely different dog. And YES, we built a private kennel for him on the back of our garage complete with an outdoor K-9 grass area where he lies in his outdoor bed and watches the squirrels.
