So effective. Should have bought them years ago
There are a lot of conflicting reviews on this product. I honestly think every tile pro should own 100, and even the novice will appreciate what these levelers can do.I’ve set thousands of sq ft of tile, and I found these to be very useful. Totally worth the money (less expensive than the “consumable” part of most systems. Way less than all the other parts)Honestly the need for these things is a function of consumers demanding larger and larger tiles. People generally assume that tiles are flat and square, but this isn’t the case. The larger the tile, the more cupped it is. If you use the common “brick-lay” pattern, this problem is even more pronounced. It’s now common to see rectangular tiles that are 3-4 feet long. If you set them on a flat surface the center will be raised 1/8” or more. If you don’t correct this problem, you cannot get a flat field of tiles no matter how flat your substrate is. These types of levelers are a necessary tool to correct the problem.Pros:Light and cheapEffectiveTotally reusable (no consumable parts)Easy to set and remove (wrench is unnecessary and useless)DurableMakes even a pro’s work look betterYou can easily put them in after setting the tile in wet mortar. I know of no other system where this is true. You don’t need them on every joint....you can decide where they are neededCons:Doesn’t work with grout joints larger than an 1/8”Can get stuck in the joints (but ONLY if you use too much mortar AND leave them in too long)Wasn't invented years agoDoesn’t have an integrated spacer like systems costing 10x as muchCan make an entire section of vertical tiles collapse as one big sheet. It really sucks, but only happens if you get greedy and set big tiles too high too fast

Easy to use
Very easy to use but I didn’t like because when we tie the tile move to the side.

Ok product considering it’s reusable
Order and shipping had zero issues.Keep in mind I’m an absolute novice while reading this reviewProduct quality is okSome of the metal tabs broke off quite easily. When tightening the tiles moves,so keep pressure on tile.Mix thinset a wee bit softer than normalThat way when you finish one rowAnd come back to last tile in row thinset is still soft so leveler can lift tile if needed.Leveler works for minor corrections, sometimes 2 or 3 are needed next to each other depending on warp of tile or how soft thinset is.I also bought the clip and wedge system. This has more force to correct lippage, butNot reusable.I had good results by using both products for job.

Works ok
I would use a different leveling system on my large format tiles is I had to do it all again. 6x40 tile 2000sq feet. Pain to reach over with both hands to tighten. It was nice to reuse them when needed. Also was nice if they broke off while removing you can just bend the metal below the grout line

Makes my job easier
I was skeptical since I’ve never seen this stile of levelers. It turns out they work great and are easy to use. Normally you would have to take the tile off a few times to get the mud level just right. So that all the tile are smooth together in one plane. But with these, it pulls the tile up or pushes it down and makes them even together. Extremely useful !!2nd year contractor with 20 years experience. This Definitely makes my job easier!!

Very helpful & reusable
I used these When setting some large format tile on a bathroom remodel. They were easy to use and helpful. Glad I had them.I looked at some other versions but went with these because they couldn’t be reused and felt less wasteful. As with anything - they take a little getting used to but overall, they are easy to work with and intuitive. I used them in combination with U spacers. That combo worked well. Take your time and don’t try to set too much tile too fast and you’ll figure it out.

Good quality
These work great. Not for continuous leveling tho. Too much work for that. I use the leveling shim type for that. But These work great in places or corners that need to be pulled out flush with other tiles. Or if you notice one or two tiles that don't look right together. You can slip these in after the tiles have been laid in the thinset and correct any issues without having to take the tile out to fix.

Easy to use tile levelers
These tile levelers work really well for me mostly. A few of them broke ( the little metal T at the bottom) if I tightened them to much. But there are so many in the box it was not a problem.
