DELTA FAUCET RP31612 Replacement Hose/Spray, Chrome

Perfect except for the parts you don't need. They sell kits and that's Deltas deal so if the usual happens, the sprayer is the problem and since the shifty valve is in it that's usually it. In other words, try unscrewing the sprayerfrom the hose and reconnect with you Original Delta hose.That way it takes minutes and it's a no brainer.I confused myself with that and will tell you that it's best not to replace the hose if you don't need to as there are no new clips if you bust the old ones used to secure the hose where it meets the feed. Need more..YouTube as I'm sure somebodies done it.

As with most people looking for a spray nozzle, mine broke one day at the plunger's joint. I was originally going to replace just the spray head but could not find it available. I was not sure if this would fit or not but the reviews on here sounded positive on the fit. As the local hardware had it for about $8 more plus the gas and drive time, I decided to go for it. I am not disappointed at as it fit beautifully. When I received this sprayer I intended to replace the whole works but then I opted to just unscrew the spray head, replace it and keep the hose. My thought was if the hose connection isn't leaking now, why take a chance. The whole thing took a matter of minutes and was equivalent of changing the nozzle on your garden hose. The sprayer is exactly the same in appearance as my old one from 2001.

I got this to replace my sprayer, which has been leaking from the trigger. It's very similar to the sprayer I had and works perfectly, although the pressure is a little low unless the faucet is on full blast. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish the sprayer was available alone. I searched and searched on here but only found it available as the whole set. Now the hose and other pieces are just going to take up space in my utility room.

I was worried that this part would fit my Delta faucet. Delta changed to a quick-connect fitting on their spray hose a half-dozen years back. Without the exact model # of your faucet, you don't know which fitting it uses (without crawling under your sink). But not to worry, this kit has both fittings in it. AMAZON should list that in the description.

This unit comes with a hose that has a "quick" attachment and an adaptor to attach to a standard 1/4" fitting. The "quick" attachment uses an exposed string/retainer clip which quickly came off and fell into the dark abyss below the sink when the hose was pushed through the mounting hole in the sink. Having lost the spring/retainer, tape was used to hold the "quick" attachment in place until a 1/4' - 1/2" stainless steel hose clamp could be purchased. Note to manufacturer: if you are going to design a "quick" hose attachment, make a smaller version of the hydraulic or air hose quick attachments.

THIS A GREAT PRODUCT. DOES WHAT SAYS AND THE RATE IS MORE THAN A NORMAL UNIT. NICE HANDLE FITS MY HAND NICELY. PRICE WAS VERY FAIR.

Ordered this because the technical specs showed this material to be brass. It is not. The sprayer is plastic with a chrome coating.The hose does have a delta quick connect on one end and the kit has a 2 piece male brass adapter (for connection to a straight threaded connection to a male delta quick connect). The kit might be worth it just for that fitting alone.The hose is white reinforced nylon and is not very flexible.
