Powerful and Lightweight Air Mover
This big fan has been a fantastic addition to my tools especially for drying out my crawlspace. This durable and lightweight blower delivers impressive airflow, making it highly effective at drying areas quickly and efficiently. Its compact size makes it easy to maneuver and position, even in tight spaces. One of the standout features is its robust construction. Despite its lightweight design, it feels sturdy and capable of withstanding regular use. The blue color is also a nice touch, making it easy to spot in a cluttered workspace. While the air mover is powerful, it's also relatively quiet, which is a significant advantage when working in confined spaces. The only minor downside is that the power cord could be a bit longer for added flexibility, but this is a small trade-off given its overall performance. I use a extension cord. I think this is an excellent choice for anyone needing a reliable and efficient blower. Its durability, power, and ease of use make it a highly recommended tool for professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike.

These Fans Blew Me Away!
I own a portable extractor and clean my home's carpets. After fooling around with box fans and being too cheap to spend $200 or more for a real fan, I came across this Max Storm model and bought 2 of them. Holy tornado Batman! These guys rock. I work as a property adjuster and am around this type of fan a lot. They are probably not quite on par with the commercial grade models as far as sheer power goes, but they are not far off, and they are quieter than the most powerful fans. They are full size fans. They do not have a "carpet clip" (for securing carpet to its snout to blow air under it) and the shape of the fan is not really conducive to stacking them, and they do not have Daisy Chain plugs, although the cords are good and long. I don't care about these commercial features, but those who do water mitigation for a living will. Did some carpet cleaning and using these had the floor fully dry in about 1 hour. Was able to plug both fans into one outlet with no issues. The info says they draw 5 amps and my experience reflects that also. Glad I have them and recommend to anyone who does home or even commercial carpet cleaning.

buy this one
We live in South Dakota. My garage floor is constantly wet during the winter. I bought one these to keep the air moving and try to dry out the floor. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0043235K8/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It is a great little unit. It ran 24x7 from November until May. It just wasn't moving enough air to dry the floor. So, I bought the Storm, hoping that the increased volume of air would dry out the floor. What a difference! The Storm moves 5x the air and it really makes a difference. It is just a little larger than the first unit, so it fits in the same place. If you are thinking about a fan, buy this one.

Works as advertised, better than renting from ServPro
Had to dry out a wood floor and subfloor from some water problems, so I used two of these to move air and placed a dehumidifier. Worked great in 4 days and moisture levels came back down to where they should be. These fans in particular blow a ton of air and have a low and high setting which was good to have, although I only used the high setting. It's somewhat cheap plastic and one of the screws came loose and fell inside (can't tell from where it fell however), but the unit still appears to be in tact and works fine. Size is good as it's not as big as I had anticipated...2 of these fit just fine in my trunk. For me it was a much better option than paying ServPro a ton of money to rent by the day, and I'm sure I'll use it again for other applications.

Fair value
First of all the Amazon description says 2800 CFM. Are you kidding? 2800 CFM would probably make this thing fly! No, not for the price. The manual says Max Air Volume 380 CFM, but who knows. The manual also says 6lbs, but the box says 25 lbs net weight, which is about right.. The manual says one speed; it is 2 speed. Nevertheless it is adequate for my use (drying out crawl space that got flooded). Probably not for professional use, but home use only. The poly housing is sturdy and substantial; the fan guards are a bit flimsy . It is really a no-frills air mover: One switch off/on and high/low. -- takes some fiddling around to figure out how to get it to low, 1/12hp motor (says the manual), long cord. Basically it is a motor, squirrel cage blower (which the manual calls "a wheel fan") inside a polyethlyene housing with a cord and a switch. It moves a decent amount of air and it is reasonably reasonably vs its competitors, so it seems a fair value.

Excellent fan at an incredible price!
This fan is amazing. We needed to wash, rinse, steam clean and then seal 1700 sq ft of travertine marble. Beautiful floor, bad prior owner, and regular maintenance is required. I was concerned that the models offered at my two local national hardware stores were underpowered for the price. They wanted $100 for a 650 CFM model. Imagine my surprise when this model was 4x the fan at 1.5x the price. It was literally a no-brainer! This miracle fan dried my floors to bone dry within several minutes. I was shocked at how quickly and thoroughly the fan worked. I'm talking we were able to touch and feel dryness within 5-10 minutes but we always left it running for at least 2 hours for sanity. Note: when sealing, never take shortcuts. We definitely let the sealer dry overnight after drying. Having the fan makes it easier because you don't have to worry about particles settling in while drying. Absolutely well worth the money and then some!

Perfect for basements that leak or flood
We have a couple of homes with basements that leak water during heavy rainstorms. These units are perfect for drying out floors and walls. I purchased two of them to cover a larger area. They both work great. The units are well constructed and quiet for the amount of air they move.

Nice heavy duty unit. Moves a lot of air. Seems built to last.
Moves a lot of air, and pretty quiet for the amount of air it's moving. Nice heavy duty unit and will definitely exceed my needs. It seems to be good quality and I figure it'll far outlast the 4 year protection plan I got with it unless something unexpected happens. I doubt that I'm going to use this unit all that often but, it's the kind of thing that when you need it you need it and at this price it makes little sense to rent one (which is what I did last time I needed one of these). Mine arrived with a small hole in the box (not sure who the shipping carrier was) but no damage so no harm done apparently. The damage to the box was not that bad. I've decided to keep the box for storing the unit. Inside the box the unit is well packed in Styrofoam but not so much that it's a pain to access, so the manufacturers packaging is a good storage solution for a guy like me who might use the thing twice a year or so and store it the rest of the time.
