Color is truly orange (not burnt orange as I hoped). Does not smell like leather but more of the chemical/glue smell as that of an inflatable swimming pool. Case is very slim and attractive not adding any bulk to the already large iPhone Plus. The card holder is essentially a slit that you might squeeze one card or a single folded bill into. The magnet is strong enough to keep it closed...barely (but gets the job done though I wouldnt trust it to remain closed during a drop). I did notice the hole for the earpiece meaning you could call/answer then close the flap while talking. Kinda a nice afterthought. But, frankly, I couldn't care less about the color; since this is a review, however, let me start with orange. It's orange, bright orange, like prison overall orange or the orange next to the mud splattered cream on a traffic cone. Orange. What can be said about orange, you won't loose it, or in all likelihood mistake it for someone else's enormous smartphone, and orange rymes with door hinge, take that fourth grade poetry. In regards to functionality, that's where this case earns it's five stars. It is slim. I went with an iPhone 6 plus, because that's whatever kind of guy that makes me (large thumbed); but I wanted no part of brick cases like my former (well loved) 5s spigen case. I searched and I took a chance on this case, and if you do you'll love it. The flip cover to protect the screen folds FLAT on the back, and gives you a nice suede surface to grip as our hands morphs slowly into arthritic tree limbs ever twitching their wooden thumbs in the air....I LOVE this case, it's the thinnest you'll find and if you don't Launch your phone at the ground, you know, drop it normally of a low table real soft like, it does a great job of protecting. The magnet closure is adequate. Yes I said adequate and still gave it five stars, sure I'd LIKE to see a stronger magnet, but, I wonder, if it were stronger would I like this case so much? Would it still flip open at the flick of a thumb, and like I said, fold flat. (FYI, there's is no wake on magnet open thing for iPhones, only iPads, don't downgrade it for not having that). I don't use the portrait stand feature, you basically have to take the phone almost all the way out of the case, and it's hard to adjust the angle. Also, Don't put a business card, or anything in that little slot, or the magnet will be completely defeated. Who carries business cards anyway?? It's a phone case, I give it five stars, even though I don't use two of its main selling features (card slot, hands free stand)P.S.
