I absolutely LOVE this bed frame. It is very sturdy, super easy to assemble and has tons of storage space underneath.I was looking for a replacement bed frame for my Temperpedic mattress. Anyone who has one knows they are HEAVY, so I needed one that could handle the weight plus 2 adults, kids and dogs (they all love to hang out with us) When I was reading other reviews I noticed that sometimes other frames collapsed. I chose this frame because of the shipping weight of 75lbs as apposed to others at only 30ish lbs. This frame is extremely sturdy steel with only 1 center support leg!! so the entire underside is usable for storage, no need to work around several support legs. I will be recommending this bed frame to all my family and friends : )

Had for less than 4 months. Already broke. Center leg was a touch too long, need would teeter totter slightly. Because of center leg bed would slide extremely easily. Well, sliding with a leg a fraction of an inch too long with thin sheet metal on weak center support pillar apparently equals the center leg bending off to the side, and weak support pillar means it sags, which means center leg bends more until it is bent at an extreme angle. Thin sheet metal then means since the leg is solid that the center support pillar breaks and the nut rips part way out of the pillar. Total garbage. I weigh 170 lbs, wife combined don't add up to much. If a hammock can hold us both a bed should too. This bed is garbage, probably would be ok if legs were correct length and main posts had some grip. But it wasn't and this slides like it's on ice. Save your money and buy anything else!

i drove myself near a nutty comparing all the available platform/frames and was skeptical of wood slats. but all the full-metal offerings even with good reviews had a few 1-star comments that gave me pause. when i decided on this one, i trusted the mere 9 reviews it had at the time, but all were recent and 5-star. this was CRAZY EASY to assemble, the time honoured tab A in slot A dynamic [and i thought it was real cute the mallet came in a box that said HERE I AM on it ;) ]. i was concerned how sturdy the the wood slats would be and how to intall evenly, but better understood the illustration when i unpacked: the slats [plenty sturdy] are pre-connected by and to a velcro strip, and placed on an opposing velcro strip on the upper portion of the units sides. i had ordered a full size in 18" to accommodate an 11" foam bed-in-a-box which it does beautifully. comfortable and sturdy, but it is not a bed i plan to use daily, just for overnighters at my daughters. that having been said, i see no reason it could not be OK for daily use as long as it's not subjected to non-intended use. and i WAS so impressed i ordered 2 more in twin size for other bedrooms in my daughters new house as well. i DID order the twin in the 14" size as the 18" is a bit tall for just sitting on the bed.

The frame does appear to be sturdy, however i am very annoyed that I paid for a brand new item that arrived in less than perfect condition. One leg was badly dented and one of the sides was also bent, so I had to pry it back into shape with a screw driver. To be fair, I have not contacted the seller, so they have not had an opportunity to 'make it right.' But as far as the review goes, the packaging needs serious improvement. A customer expects a package to arrive undamaged and the product also. I did not pay for a damaged bed frame, so I am a bit mad about that. On the positive side (rant over) the bed frame is sturdy. If the company improves its packaging so it arrives in pristine condition, I think customers would be very happy with it. I want a partial refund for receiving my bed frame in a damaged condition.

I had it put together in 20 minutes. Wicked easy, I didn't even open the instructions. It's SOLID. I like that the slats are sewn together with a line of Velcro to stick a to the frame. There's a line of padded tape down the middle beam, so the wood slats don't clank against it. It has 5 legs, one on each corner and one right in the center. It looks like it'll be pretty easy to store things under this bed.I've purchased other platform frames on Amazon and they were okay, but way more complicated (bolts and allen wrench's). From my experience, the metal on the other frames aren't as sturdy, so to compensate, they have more support legs. More legs means it's harder to move across carpet(and more likely to break) and if any of those extra legs are on the edge of the frame, it's one more thing to hit your toe on.

I've only been using this bed for a week now, but so far I love it. Assembly was extremely quick and easy. There are no screw, bolts, or anything like that to deal with. You just use the provided mallet to hammer the pieces together. The bed feels very solid and doesn't creak at all when you move around.

This frame is just fantastic! I should have purchased this years ago. I snapped it together it 8 mins. Amazingly quick and simple. It is SO strong. Previous frame was also metal and had a box frame. But it sagged in middle. Realized it can't be the mattress do took a chance to buy this. Immediate life changing difference. No more sag. No more squeak. Super sturdy. Bed feels brand new from the showroom!! We no longer even feel each other moving since this strong 2 inch metal frame is so grounded to the floor. And it looks nice too. Lots of room under it. I can't believe I didn't have to tighten 1 single screw. Just snap it together with the mallett. GENIUS! I'd give this 10 stars!
