I have had this water bottle for over two years and I love it. I have carried this water bottle around with my EVERYWHERE. I like it so much that I bought one for my husband and best friend. You only want the best for those close to you, so you already know how good a product is if people are buying them for close ones. I was curious how there could be one star reviews on this, so when I looked, I saw it was mostly due to the non-steel lid and ice melting. I don't use the non-steel lid with the straw (I thoroughly enjoy having my lid strapped to my bottle, and being able to hold on to it, so I only use the steel lid with the rubber part that connects to my water bottle. Plus, I am thankful for the steel lid because I try not to drink out of plastic. Thus, I cannot speak to the other lid if that is something you are looking for.). Secondly, in terms of ice melting - yes, it does melt. HOWEVER, your water is kept cold for hours (I have never had it where I had ice/my water at a cool temperature and it EVER warming up.)!This is a great water bottle, and it is at a price point where you feel comfortable in investing in it. Having it for 2+ years, and filling it up 2-3 times a day (32 ounces), I have received AT LEAST 1,825 uses out of it (2 years X 2.5 fill-ups on average). There is great temperature control, it is sturdy (this is coming from someone who is clumsy), and it has a great design (I have purchased the teal 32 oz, black/white ombre 32 oz, and navy 40 oz for myself and others.)! I use the teal one, and I LOVE the color - it is so vibrant and a beautiful color). Also, my husband and I have both put stickers on ours and they work well. My husband has the black/white ombre one, and has a white sticker that overlaps both, and it looks so sleek! The only thing about my water bottle is that it is too wide for my cup holders in my car since I don't have large/adjustable cup holders. However, as long as the lid is screwed on tightly, I put it on the ground and it does not leak.I also want to give a shout out to the customer service team; if you have any questions or concerns about your water bottle, just go to their contact page on their website and send them an e-mail. They will get back to you within 24 hours and help you solve your issue if it falls under their lifetime warranty - how cool is that? You don't get that very often with companies, and that is something to really considering when buying any product you plan on using consistently. Most don't offer superior service, but you are lucky if you buy from Hydro Cell because you will receive awesome customer service that is responsive and respectful! I bought three of these. One for my husband and one for each of my kids. I will be getting one for myself as well. We have taken them to the beach, work outs at the gym, Universal theme parks and Volcano Bay waterpark, and my kids use them for school each day. No leaks! They have kept our water cold and ice lasted all day. Very well made.I wash them by hand. Love the colors they offer. I found a pouch with a shoulder strap so we could carry them like you would a crossbody bad.

I recently switched to Hydro Cell from tritan Nalgene bottles, I love how long these keep water cold. I fill mine up at the start of the day, and even with a minimal amount of initial ice, I usually have some left when I get home. They also stay dry on the outside, no condensation to worry about. The look and feel of the bottle itself is great. The color gradients on both of my bottles look outstanding. I also like how varied the color options are. The included lids both work well, although I prefer the regular stainless steel one for its leak proof qualities, thermal protection, and ruggedness. Overall I'm loving these bottles and wish I had switched over sooner!

Summary: Just buy one. We've used and abused ours for years, they still function exactly the same, have held up to scratching/denting/dropping with zero problems, and the pricing is the SAME (not similar, the SAME) three years later... These are "buy it for life" bottles!Original Review (Aug 2020): I can put ice and water in this, and it will last for DAYS. It's tipped upside down in my car before too, and not a single drop leaked out. My partner ordered one and we've been using them daily for almost a year now. We wash the straw tops in the dishwasher on the top rack, and hand wash the bottles themselves.Update (March 2023): I just bought a third bottle. These are "buy it for life" material! Both of the bottles we purchased in 2020 are still going strong, despite being downright abused! Our original bottles have been dropped, dented (falling down literal concrete stairs), dropped on pavement, etc... They still insulate just as well, the finish is very difficult to scratch on the outside, and the insides of the bottles have not experienced any problems either. I just bought another because we love using these bottles so much, that if we forget one at a friend's house for a few days, we actually don't drink as much water using our other bottles... Theses are our clear favorites! The price hasn't really changed in the past two years either, so that's a huge plus too. The straw top and the regular top are both very easy to clean, and the silicone seal inside the lids is easy to remove for cleaning as well.These bottles are the best I've used, hands down.Also, pro tip, you might see some reviews from people frustrated that the water bottle "pushes" water out of the spout sometimes... If you fill your bottle FULL with ice, then full to the brim with water... When the ice melts, the water takes up more room than the ice so it forces water out the spout. I'm not kidding when I say you need to fill it FULL TO THE BRIM with ice and water though. I literally leave an inch gap between the water and the top, and that works fine for me. You'll have this problem with any/every water bottle if you fill it totally full of ice and water, then let it all melt without drinking any of it lol. After measuring, it seems the 40oz bottles are actually a teensy bit larger to account for that, which is a REALLY good design choice by the manufacturer!All things considered, I would buy 5 more of these if I didn't think the 2 bottles (soon to be 3) we own wouldn't already last us a lifetime. To be honest, I'll probably buy 5 more anyway over time, as these bottles are the absolute best - And believe me, my cabinet of other bottles that failed the daily carry test can attest to that lol.
