Works great for my Roku TV and didn't need programmed or anything. I just put in batteries and it worked! I actually received a faulty product initially and the volume buttons acted goofy and barely worked, but Amazon sent me a new one and gave me 30 days to return the defective one so I still gave 5 stars. Defective/damaged products sometimes happen but I am very pleased with the replacement I received and think it was a great deal too!

There are so many of these on Amazon, but this one is only slightly different to the original. That being said it works flawlessly and I would recommend it. We actually bought two remotes, one that was $7 bucks and one that was $11. The less expensive one didn’t come with batteries and the buttons are slightly “clickier” with the plastic more of a gloss/smooth. The more expensive $11 option was the same matte black as the original, buttons are the same tactile feeling, etc. We have a 50” Roku TV and a 55” Roku TV and this remote works with both.

I brought this remote and tried it and right out the box it worked great. I still had my remote that came with the tv but I brought this one just in case I lose my other remote or if I miss place it one day. Long story short. After the testing one day I put up this remote and went back with my original one. And all of a sudden my tv started going crazy like it would cut off when I press the button to go to the right or left. Called my tv tech thought something was going wrong with my tv. So my tv company said my remote that must have came with the tv may have started acting up are was going out so they were sending me another. So I left my tv off for a day or 2 until my new remote came in. Well I just wanted to see what would happen with my tv with the original one that came with it so I turn the tv on with it and behold the tv was working fine with the remote I first thought was messing up with my tv. The only thing I could think of was this remote right here that I used the day before to test. So unless I have problems I don't think I will use this remote. And this remote stated that it was for my tv in which it did work but I think it messed up the program of my tv to my original remote. It was the only thing I used different. And until I did use this remote my tv always worked fine. Maybe just a hiccup or something but I don't know if I would use it again.

It's a good remote

I bought this as a back up to my Roku remore control. It is so stiff pressing the buttons I'm thinking I could get carpal tunnel. ABD BTW I tries 2 sers of NEW batteries

Works just like the original..I don't know how the first one stopped working...gradually the buttons shut down one function at a time over a 5 month period...but I used the roku app on my phone which is OK, but I missed having the feel of the remote control because you memorize where the buttons are without having to look down at it...when you are using your phone or tablet to control your device, you have to look at the screen to use the functions..some people like touch screen remotes, but I like to surf roku with the roku remote 😀
