The angle changing lens cover did not really make much difference in the beam spread. I put them in a dark room on a table pointing up at the ceiling to test it, I could only notice a very slight change in the spread of light on the ceiling, which was about 5' away. I would not buy them for the changeable lens since it did not seem to make the difference that it was claimed to. ### ⭐ Do NOT buy these bulbs - they die within 6 months of minimal use *by N***H on Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2016* I purchased four of these bulbs on Amazon in November 2015. Now, just six months later, two of the bulbs died - they simply do not light up. I used them maybe 2 hours per day (at most) in my living room ceiling downlights, and LED bulbs are supposed to last tens of thousands of hours - much longer than non-LED bulbs. At two hours per day, that is 730 hours per year - they should have lasted 10 years or more at that rate! These bulbs were not the cheapest and I thought, o.k., you get what you pay for, but not in this case.
